Ted, I hear you. It seems to me to be less volatile than UX 3-line. In comparative sessions, same money, I always seem to be able to play longer on UA. Also, I have not had any of the big outcomes yet in UX, all the while three nice outcomes in about 6 sessions. Played UX same six sessions and only got a 4AWAK for $2k. But when it's dry, it's dry for sure!

Very high indeed! I've noticed the past few trips to my local, I don't start hitting on this game until I'm at least 6k deep. I've already given back close to the 42k I won on it at the start of the year. I feel this is a game you either hunker down on until you hit a decent multiplied hand, or just take stabs at it.

I have been taking the random stab approach... just checked my stats and I've taken 12 shots in 2017 ($500 - $1,500 each), with only one winning session, and a total loss of -$5,500 on $45,000 coin in. I almost never even get any play out of my money, most sessions are 5-15 minutes till bust out. To put in perspective against other variants, I have an overall loss of $50,000 (it's been a rough start to the year) on $2,500,000 coin in (ok, maybe not that rough, I'm willing to consider that maybe I play a tad too much). I'm sure the numbers would smooth out eventually if I really put in the volume, but it's a scary proposition given how fast this game chews through your bankroll.

 

Maybe I'll stick with JoB..... Hahaha

Ted, I feel the stab approach is the only way to play these kind of machines. I also play your $500-$1500 and given the price per spin, consider that a stab. Like all these games, luck has to be with you. I also switch games very very often. I have found that to work well(DDB>TDB>DB). I laugh with my wife about the "welcome" hands. If things slow, I just switch to a new game and often get some good hands and then back again. No method to the madness, just a feeling. As we all know in these two games there can be slow periods and it just feels good to switch up. I'll put another picture up on $5 single line TDB 4AWAK for $20k a few weeks ago. On $5 single line I always do $500 and move machines. Switch games if not getting good play. Start at highest variance and work my way down until I hit or bust. Not fool proof, but been good to me.

I had to insert this "special" royal.

The reason it was is it was the first time I found a real advantage play that i was able to take advantage of successfully and truly win on.

I know it's an 8/6 JOB game, and it was the best I could find on this machine. But here's the thing- at this "local" casino of mine, if you play VP on a machine that also has Keno on it, you get the same points as if it were a slot machine- 1 point per $10 coin-in versus - 1 per $20 on a VP only game (I hope they aren't reading this). The paytables are actually usually better on the Keno ones too.
So I then stumbled upon this machine one day in the HL room and played a little and noticed I was racking up points real fast. There was some mistake in the machine and it was giving out 10x points (both tier and playable). So I did the math and it was giving me an extra 2% payback in slot points, plus helped me increase my freeplay offers and got me to a higher tier level. If you look at my points it thinks I cycled $5090 through it so far but was only $509.
Basically a 100.393% return not including the extra freeplay, etc.

Sadly a week after I got this I went back and the machine was disabled, and they figured it out, so party was over but I kept my points and my $4K.

 

I'll take one to go.

Definitely need some luck, might give it a try again this weekend at Paris, the one and only place I've won on this game so far... quick stabs at $5 single line are a good idea too, the payoff is huge if you actually hit.

 

That's the dream hand... wonder if they will pay it all in cash. Is there a limit where they force you to take checks or tickets? Or can you negotiate with them on a jackpot that big? Is $400,000 enough to make them consider cutting deals to avoid the cash hit? Like say you'd be willing to take $450,000 in free play instead? Or $800,000 of free play that can never be cashed out (even the winnings)? That sounds crazy, but if you're going to play anyway, is there really a difference?

 

Yeah, it also includes a $24k win at Graton... I feel like I've had terrible luck this year, but didn't realize I was already over $2.5m coin in. Have to ease up or even running at theo will tap out my bankroll.

 

I'm sure cosmo will pay in cash if requested. Hell the top grossing casinos in Missouri gross about a half a million on slots/VP per day. I'm sure cosmo can afford it...
