Some younger co-workers of mine are going to Vegas for their first time...I believe there will be 6 of them total. They are heading out in a couple of weeks and staying at MGM. Knowing that I go to Vegas a lot, they asked me about bottle service. Since I've never done that myself, I am deferring to you fine people. I think most of their group makes in the $40-50k salary range, so they're willing to splurge, but they're not looking for the $2500/bottle type experience. I told them to check Hakassan since they're already at MGM. Other than that, maybe somewhere at Cosmo, Bellagio, or Aria? The only other place I could think of for them to check out is Drais.

Note: it's all guys, so I don't know if this changes the dynamic, or if it won't matter since they're splurging for the bottle service.

They thank you for any input or suggestions you might have.

Every night club will have it. Some you can book through their website so I’d check there. That way they can evaluate the table spend minimums and possible see approximately where their specific table might be in the club to fit their budget. Also make sure they’re aware of the extra fees like the service charge/gratuity and taxes which can add several hundred bucks to their bill.

Thanks Bayou. I think they were hoping to get a feel for the better places to go currently, since the club scene can change so quickly out there

My stepson went to some of the clubs last year. Marquee at Cosmo, XS at Encore and Hakkasaan (sp?) at MGM are all top clubs right now. He especially liked Drai’s at Cromwell because of being on the roof. Might be too hot in the summer? His boss paid for the bottle service, so no help there.

I know on my last trip to Vegas the line to get into the Marquee was incredibly long. Granted, I sat and people watched while eating a slice of secret pizza but still.....it was long.

Drai's is a non-stop stream of beautiful people. Another great people watching opportunity if you're willing to sit at the bar playing VP and people watch. (raises hand).

XS and Hakkasaan are big as well as April (and or Ron) said above.

I’ve been going to all the clubs for a while now, and IMHO, Omnia is the best.

If there’s just 6 people total, they should get 2 bottles, which with tax and gratuity should be around $1800-2K.

About 10 or so years ago I was in their spot and my crew we were stressing the $125 for the open bar package at Voodoo (at the Rio) making similar money at the time. Haha. $1800 between even 6 of us would have fainted.

I know, it's insane. For $1800 bucks I could throw a party at one of my local lounges for about 12 to 15 people, get a band, have plenty of attractive women show up, if I was so inclined and have a pretty good time for a few hours on ALOT of alcohol. That would be with tax and gratuity combined.
Sure it's not Vegas and there is no celebrity DJ or confetti cannons to see. But the per dollar entertainment return way outpaces what you can buy in Vegas. Take for example a bottle of Moet Imperial Gold, typically $55 to 60 bucks, but it will cost you $1K in a VegasClub. 2000% mark up with tip and tax.

I think the current generation is more about being seen somewhere or being able to take a selfie and post on social media. Basically let the world know you were somewhere. EG Vegas Club.

I don't get the willingness to hand over your money and be overcharged, since in my mind, the value prop for what your spending in the club and what getting in return at a Vegas club is horrible. Then again I never made enough in a given year to make it rain 10's and 20's. The club value opinion is coming from a guy who has shelled out a 4 grand so his kid can get a picture taken with a mouse and pay $90 for a couple of under cooked hamburgers at the happiest place on earth. There is some severe reality distortion in Vegas and I think legalized pot is only going to cause it to increase.

I presented my Identity card and thought it was used, but it never showed up on my account. Gone by the time I noticed though. I emailed Identity but 6 people split it with cash so no receipt with my name on it saying it was paid. Pretty brutal actually, would have gotten me close to platinum.
