MGM $750,000 Slot Tournament Aug 23-26

I am in this tourney; ill be doing mine from MB. I think it is worth the shot for $250 (max cost after lowest win). You lose your corporate FP normally so depends on what you would be giving up. For me, it was only $250 so im risking it.

 

(Prize structure is based on 690 total participants (23 individual tournaments total))....There's usually Tournament A, Tournament B at each hotel so it's not just 30 people per casino. I'm down at MB. I love the $500 buy ins. (not just at MB but B as well)...When you see the $100,000 CASH WINNER falter up to the stage at the finale...you silently congratulate him or her and wish it was you. The finale is Mirage IF you qualify. I think I've only done one $500 buy in where it encompasses several of the Mlife casinos with a FINALE at a Hosting Casino..and lucky enough I qualified. But,,didn't get in the money. I usually go for the single hotel $500 buy ins (Bellagio the best host in my opinion,,just like a great feed on during the tournaments, good music),,but I'm a MB long time slotter so I gave them my love for Aug 23.

 

Well this is interesting. Host said MB was over by 6 players so asked if I would play at Mirage instead. Limo me over and back etc. They've been good to me here, getting me on cruises that I didn't qualify for so I said whatever you gotta do. Now she's switched me to Bellagio because they do back to back tournament sessions and she don't want me gambling elsewhere. Mirages sessions were farther apart in times. I did bring up a question yesterday tho. What about the tickets you earn during play? Every 1500 points gets u a ticket for the wild card drawing to get in the finale if u didn't rate to make it to the finale at Mirage. So undecided as to where my tickets will be going. And do I have to BE back at B for the draw? Like here at MB you gotta be in attendance for the wild card drawing. So they are working on it. Hah. I did have a good day yesterday although I can't find any of it in my purse. Got two handies. 3650.00 and a 2200.00. So I know I have some wild card fodder.

 

That’s a very good question about the drawing tickets! Let us know what the final answer is, as it will definitely be harder to compete with the Bellagio regulars for the wild card. Hopefully, you get to do the MB Wild Card. I got super lucky with an Aria wild card, at my last tourney. I probably had the least number of tickets, or one of the least, but managed to get picked. I did the old Toyota “Oh what a Feeling” jump lol

 

Agree. I have some peeps over there who may have blown 30 thousand so far where as I might be down just 3 thousand. I gotta a limo shortly to bring me over there with another gal and gonna bring that up to my host as she's gonna meet us to wish us good luck. Oh and holy crap if your ticket gets drawn for a wild card and you haven't put in the time and players know about it. I personally call it the Avicci feeling. "Oh oh sometime you get a good feeling". You guys are funny. Good luck Sin and let me know how you do. I'm a little iPad challenged. I do better with my laptop but as my younger son (26) says MOM they work the same. If I win anything substantial I send it to vegaschic so she can post it for me. I just got a 3650 and a 2200 yesterday. Off to the tournament.

 

Seattle is here and her and I had a meet up. I at least have my 1042,s. I'm kinda waiting on the end of the tournament today as I might have had a good score to advance. I think it's still going to like 4 or something so will let u know.
