I'll be there week of August 5th. Sounds like it won''t be open yet. I'll check the progress while I'm there.

Was hoping the food court would be operational for my September trip. Thanks for posting Bebe.

Has anyone actually eaten at any of these places before? I’ll be able to see it in September but there’s so many choices-in the food hall, at Cosmo, in Vegas-that I can’t narrow it down.

I've eaten at the Pok Pok in NY (which I think has since closed down). Had the wings which I liked but didn't enjoy nearly as much as the rest of my family. They loved them; I was a little overwhelmed by all of the flavors.

I've eaten at Hattie B's all three times I have gone to Nashville. Definitely recommend the hot chicken tenders with some mac and cheese.

I was at Cosmo this weekend and got to see/eat at Block 16. It's a very nice addition IMO. They spared no expense in constructing the place (expected for Cosmo). I give it two thumbs up. It fits in very well with Eggslut and Holsteins. Just a warning, it can be busy. The chicken place was BUSY!

    Anyway, I tried...

Hattie B's Chicken - Small white (chicken) plate (medium heat) with mac and cheese and coleslaw for the sides. Make sure to get a honey mustard for dipping the chicken. Chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. Cost was $10 plus tax which is cheap cheap cheap. Good value for the money.

Lardo - Korean Pork shoulder sandwich, kimchi, chili mayo, cilantro, lime. Again very tasty. A little on the spicy side. Cost was $14 plus tax.

I plan to go back to both these places, and I'd love to try the other restaurants. Just ran out of time. I actually think you could go for an entire 3 day trip and eat all your meals at Block 16.

That is my plan LOL. I figure my resort credit will go a long way there as the prices don't look bad :)

Compared to the buffet costing $50-$60, yeah resort credit stretches further at Block 16...
