Check-in was the worst.. it seems every first-time traveller and their mom was in line.. and a bunch of "in the way" people. Anyhow, process took about an hour or so but was able to grab a bite at Windjammer before heading to room. Junior suite has decent closet space.

Casino on this boat is huge.. cruise wide. Rode the Radiance n Brilliance on RCCL before and the casino on this ship is easy 10x bigger. The gambling is rough this far.. down about 6500. I guess only upside is the CC pts for pulling cash aka "club royale entertainment."

Hit a couple hand pays but the tables were rough.

Service on this ship is horrendous. Servers in the casino are trash.. I'm asian.. 90% of the employees are from se Asia. Shit service.. really put off on the larger ships in RCCL fleet.

Gambling has been painful.. down about 30k.. machines r tighter than the virgin Mary.. table dealers are a bunch of douchebags.. except for 1 so far.

***tip.. if you're on RCCL heading to labadee, haiti.. call for the jet ski zipline pkg. I got it for 151 for both.. at their private port, its 151 for the zipline only. Jet skiing was a blast.. 1.5 days til I get off this shit ship. Vegas on monday..

Love their private port in Haiti. On the ship there is a (or was) a tour you could take to show you how the ship looks after the gardens etc. and all about how they built the ship etc. and I found it quite interesting. They do actually have frogs that keep down the insects. And the host of the tour noted to us that the Allure and the Oasis are identical sister ships (been on both) but one of them can't remember which boasts it was built 1 inch (was it?) bigger than the other so it could boast at the time it was the Biggest Ship on the Seas. It was a fun tour of the ship. (although I might agree with the gambling aspect, but I've been on both with a hundred other gamblers so we were using the machines a lot more than perhaps a cruise without our crew). One trip several of the players were doing well at VP mostly, like a couple $10,000 pays, one $36,000 pay),,,I think my biggest on the ship was only $2000. But,again I account it to we were all 100 of us Vegas gamblers)

    well..
the trip did not get better. i think i ended up losing just shy of 30k on the boat.. with it's crap service. i am gonna give RCCL a piece of my mind.

vegas wasn't any better. 1 handpay of 1400.. but down around 15k. ugh. vegas was more relaxed as we had a cabana, poker sessions, and tons of eating. if you guys like korean BBQ, check out Master Kim's Korean BBQ. it is a bit off the strip, but the meat quality and service is on point. we opted for the cheaper combo at around 22-23 a head. would've gladly paid 30 for what we got.. get there early or be prepared to WAIT. we got there early.

Can you describe how this actually works. You go to casino cage to pull out cash but you wouldn’t be charged as a cash advance when charging it against your credit card?

If it's like NCL you just load credits at the machine and it charges it to your room. So he's earning points on those room charges, and since he's platinum any fees there usually are from doing that are waived for him.

if you're playing tables, they'll run your seapass card (room key) and it's pretty much like a marker that gets charged at the end of the cruise... OR you can go to the cage and get cash. up to $5k per CC you have attached to your folio. so i did a different "walk of shame"
