This is the invite this year. The email one and physical one. I don't have pictures of past years though. It's a board about an inch thick or so. Screenshot_20181107-165222~2.jpeg IMG_20181108_050756.jpeg IMG_20181108_050808.jpeg

    A lot of them
Can’t imagine how much the invites cost to print and mail. I got mine yesterday...very impressive. Unfortunately the wife won’t go to Vegas for the holidays. I’m so old I have no idea who Imagine Dragons and Ariana Grande are but assume they are fabulous entertainers. The fireworks party sounds great as well. I’m sure those of you who go will enjoy...awesome way to welcome the new year.

Do y’all think Super bowl.....I mean BIG GAME Party invites will be about the same level of play....higher....lower? I’ve been able to get comp rooms around that time but no party invites.

Speculation on my part, but probably lower. BIG GAME draws a much more limited demographic than NYE. During the former, people mostly come for the parties, whether paid or casino hosted, but otherwise it's a relatively normal weekend; the LA nightclub crowd is not making a special trip to Vegas just for that. By contrast, NYE draws people for the paid parties, the casino parties, the nightclubs, the fireworks, and the whole range of debauchery.

I got the invite thankfully. Is anyone familiar with what goes on at "get amp'd at our fireworks party high above the Las Vegas strip" based on past NYE trips? Does it take place at the boulevard pool? Is there food and drinks? Just curious what to expect....

That was my question too...cuz Cosmo is also doing a paid party where the ice skating rink is...so I'm not sure if they're one in the same or this one will be a separate party....

Does anyone know when you have to RSVP by? I haven't decided if I want to go or not yet.

I would book sooner then later can always cancel mid-December if you aren't going to go. As probably first come first serve.

Does canceling hurt your standing with hosts?

I've personally never found that to be a problem. They understand life happens.

Same. Just don't make a habit of it and you're fine. No-shows are frowned upon, but cancellations are no big deal.

That makes sense. I did no show once through my host at the Wynn. My grandma died and canceling was the last thing on my mind. He did send me an email and said he understand, but if it becomes a frequent thing I could lose certain comps. I guess I never canceled before, but I guess it's not a big deal

I got booked under the NYE offer! Woohoo

I found out a little more information on the (my) offer...

    - 2 tickets for Ariana Grande
    - 2 tickets for Imagine Dragons
    - Fireworks party has open bar (I don't know the location...maybe at the pool? but that's where the ice skating is so not sure...)
    - Casino has set aside a certain number of seats at the various restaurants on NYE for this offer

I don't know if the above applies to everyone, but that's what they're offering me.

I concur that you should book your offer yesterday if you're interested. I was told restaurants are filling up, and obviously they and the concerts have a fixed number of seats. I wouldn't delay.

Does anyone have info based on past years, such as.... Where and when to pick up concert tickets? Where to watch fireworks? etc.
