Anyone at the MGM Springfield Nov 2-3?

Mrs Tesla and I are sneaking off for a weekend getaway.

 

We had a great time! We had an epic meal and plenty of drinks at Cal Mare. Our room was great. The casino floor was hopping but not overly crowded. I even won some money.

We tried both restaurants right after opening week and we thought Cal Mare had better food. The meal we had on our second trip was even better than what we had on our first! The menu is also more varied, and probably more healthy if stuff like that matters when you're in a casino.

Chandler wasn't bad, but they needed some fine-tuning on both the food and the service. We're planning to try it again on our next trip, figuring by then they should be dialed in.

Thanks for the advice about the rooms. I'm not sure I roll deep enough for the rotunda or presidential suites but I might have a shot at the garden suites; I'll ask my host about one.
