What are you drinking 2.0?

It was good, but not great. I was hoping for more tangerine to come through. I thought it was still fairly hoppy.

3.5 sips perhaps?

 

Parish Rêve Coffe Stout.



Pours and drinks similarly to a cold brew coffee. Slight bitterness of coffee, since it’s not a milk stout there isn’t any lactose to balance that. It’s pretty good but I wouldn’t be able to have more than 1 in a sitting.

 

Made my own old fashioned with Bulleit. Regular angostura bitters for me. Chocolate bitters for the gf.

 

Went on a beer run in Chicago today and had some good locals tonight.

First a great local milkshake IPA. What's really noteworthy about it is that I drank it the first day it was canned. (7.2%; 4.5 sips)




Then follow up with a beer from about 60 miles from Chicago. Another juicy NE IPA. Even tastes great when it's warm! (7.8%; 4.75 sips)

 

The little liquor store I go to is pushing that on FB today. They must have just gotten the cans you bought yesterday. Before you mentioned it I've heard guys at work say it was really good. Might need to hit them up today.

It's as dark as it is boozy(10%) and tasty

 

Lol that's new to me. To avoid blowing up the price point? How much was it? $15-$20?
