Looking for a 2019 Seven Stars Companion card. Open terms, will be in Vegas for extended trip beginning 3/4/19. Can meet late afternoons all evenings.

I would have to imagine everyone would ask, will you be gambling with it?

It wouldn't matter. The companion card has the TR number of the companion, not the the 7* player. It let's the companion cut lines, access to the Diamond Lounge for the companion only. The companion card doesn't even give the person free valet parking.

Fully understood; is there any benefit for the 7* person to give their companion perk to a random stranger vs their friend?

Gambling would be one perk...I'm new, perhaps this is a common thing around here. The "open terms" comment makes me curious.

Yes the SS companion card does give free valet parking. Was recinded then reinstated. Also top shelf drinks, no red light/green light @ bars, upgrades on show tix etc...

Does 7* companion mess up the main players theo ranking if they go and play on that card?

I'd be more worried about something going wrong and it blowing back on the main player. Someone misbehaves on the floor, and that card is still linked to the person whose account it is. I've had requests like this from friends about getting a copy of one of my Mlife platinum cards (obviously it's not 7*, but it does let you skip the taxi line, get free parking, and things like that), and even then I've only even considered it if it was someone I really trusted. Not to mention, I haven't read the terms of service in detail, but I could imagine there being a stipulation preventing you from trading benefits for cash.

I was more curious as some friends don't like to use all their Seven Star benefits such as the free Atlantis Bahamas offers and stuff like that getting added on the card to be able to use that since they would never use it.

Yeah i am.sure there would be some.caution depending on who you share it with.

The play or lack of play by companion card holder should have no effect on the Seven Star member as companion card has it owner has his/her own card number. Companion do not get all benefits or access to Seven members benefits, they basically get line pass.

This would be my concern too. I think it's extremely low probability that there would be any real consequence, but at the same time, I can't imagine anyone would pay me enough for my companion card to make it worth taking on even that minimal risk.

Damn. That's a ton of money for the benefits you would get IMO. Well for me, I guess if you are local and eat all the time at the DL.

I believe the companion could take advantage of the free golf that is offered in Vegas twice a year. If you're a golfer, I suppose there is some decent value in that?

I think in AC, the 7* lounges serve actual restaurant meals, so probably would be worth that price for a local. I'd still give mine to a friend before selling to a stranger for $900 though.
