    Hey Everyone.

Hope everyone is well. I had a comp from cosmo sitting in my account going on 2 yrs and decided to make a trip out. This is my first time using an available comp to me in Vegas. My offer was 4 nights, $300 f/b and $900 free play. I called reservations and they confirmed my booking. When I went online to "My Itenerary" it shows my 4 nights booked and the $300 in dining. It doesnt show the $900 free play.

When I check in upon arrival, in order to use the food comp, must I do anything besides charging the dinners to my room? Will they automatically be taken care of? Or must I notify someone?

The free play? It doesnt show up in my account anymore. How do I go about getting it when Im at the cosmo?

I apologize in advance with such questions. It is my first time going through the process.

    Any help is much appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.
    J

My Itinerary didn't show my free play either. To use it, just go to the Identity desk to activate it.

Charge f/b to room. It will be deducted automatically at checkout. You'll need an ID to charge to room.

Have a great trip! The comp system at Cosmo has always been seamless for me and both the front desk and Identity are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about offers.

Make sure you check-in at the "Casino Invited Guest" line that's roped off from the others (unless you have VIP check-in)… the line tends to be quicker because these are people who have been to the Cosmo before.

@kwool nailed it! Since you can use free play without staying, and you need to go to the cage to activate it, it has never shown up on my confirmations before either.

Pretty much anything you can charge to your room can use the other comp. Tips not included.

I’ve always had to activate free play at the players club desk. Promo table play was done at the cashiers cage in case you ever get any there.

Is that line for everyone staying on a comp offer?
    Or just sterling+?

Are you sure? I was told by my host to go to the invited guest line on my last trip. Someone came down that line asking for names and she had a list of who was supposed to be in the line. They were walking people to the general check in lines if they weren't on the list - I heard people saying that they had comp nights.

This is directly from my host when I asked about where I was supposed to be.

"Casino Invited Guest Desk – first Window at the Front Desk on the left side. All ROOM COMP level casino players check in there"

So the way I read that, anyone with a comped room should be able to use it

It's also USUALLY on that far left desk but I've seen it shifted around sometimes, so just look for the stanchions and signs.

Interesting. I've seen them police the entrance to the VIP room with a list, but never the invited guest line. Not that I'm against it, but I would think on any given day, they'd have tons of people eligible for invited guest to the point that it would be more difficult to get right.

I’m 90% sure the connector rooms to the Wrap are the terrace studio with a King bed. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Had a connector room twice with the wraparound terrace suite. Once before the remodel and once after. Both times, the connector room was the terrace one bedroom. All terrace one bedrooms AFAIK are one king beds only.

Yeah the connectors for Wraparounds and Terrace Suites are One Bedrooms with a king bed.

How much do you think the 1 king connector cost if the wrap around suite is comped to you?

I had one of the worst check in people Ive ever dealt with this past trip. I arrived at noon to check in. They denied me invited guest line. Then when I did get to the desk, I was told that my bvld tower reservation in the wraparound will not be possible and ill be put into the chelsea. When I asked about a complementary upgrade, she told me I could upgrade the wraparound to a terrace suite in the blvd tower for an additional $70/night. Then she told me that I would be charged for early check in since I was there at noon. WTF?? I told her to just cancel everything and I would check in later after I explored other options to which she said she would waive the early check in fee. I dont get it. Even with the $20 skin in between the ID/CC.

Thank you for everyones reply. Information is greatly appreciated

I think you would pretty much have to pay whatever the best full price you could find on their website for a One Bedroom using any publicly available discount offers they have.

I qualify for a One Bedroom comped and when I upgrade to a Terrace Suite, I pretty much pay the full retail difference between the two prices.

    That sounds pretty bad.

There are no "Terrace Suite" rooms in the Boulevard Tower, that is a specific room type name and they are all in the Chelsea Tower. So I dunno, maybe whatever upgrade she was offering for $70/night was either an upgrade to a Wraparound with a fountain view or a primo Wraparound on the northeast corner of the Boulevard Tower.

So I think I screwed myself and booked between offer emails... I was getting a 2 nights comped email like every month. Then I wanted to make sure I got a room for a trip and put in a reservation and the identity lady I spoke with told me when I get my new offer to just apply the nights. Of course now I haven’t gotten an offer since...

I haven’t been back since June of last year but wanted to use those nights for my trip end of July. (Lost my comp night for Sterling since not going back before June)

Do they normally stop sending if you just book a random night between offers? My last offer email was March 14th or so. I feel like a dummy for not waiting...

Sorry for jacking the thread, but it’s kinda related ;)

Unless you're talking about booking New Years Eve dates, this seems totally unnecessary. Cosmo has tons of rooms. It's Tuesday, and they still have availability for checking in this Thursday and out of Sunday. I've booked same day trips from the airport, no problemo.

In your case, cause it's been so long since your last visit, it's hard to tell if the offers stopped cause you had a room booked or because of lack of recent trips.
