I wanted to ask the advice of this board a few things. I will be flying in by myself and my friend arrives 4 hours later.
I wanted to see if anyone recommends taking a cab or Uber to a liquor store to get a couple bottles of top shelf liquor.
My concern is leaving all my bags etc in an Uber or cab..

If I should get checked in first or at least drop my bags what store should I go to? If I can check in early on a Tuesday morning I will get some more supplies, possibly a styrofoam cooler and a 12 pack of beer and some waters etc.

    Any advice is appreciated.

Do you know there is a liquor store at the airport right next to the baggage terminals. They sell many top shelf liquors. If convenience is important to you, check it out.

I haven't seen anyone complain about anything happening to their bags when stopping at a liquor store on the way to the hotel. I have seen people complain that cabs and probably uber etc now take them to expensive places that rip them off since the drivers get kick backs. I'd check out the stores and know where you want to go get the booze. I don't mind the driver getting money for taking me to someone's store, I have a huge problem with them getting paid and the store ripping me off :)

    Definitely will
Check out store in airport. My friend has a specific list of rums that I need to pick grom. Hoping the airport has it. If not I have to venture off to find it

Go to Total Wine in Town Square, corner of 215 and Las Vegas Blvd. It's a little out of the way from the direct route to Palazzo, but you avoid the two or three ripoff liquor stores that would be closer. Prices at Total Wine will more than make up for the longer trip( it is about 5 miles longer than a straight trip to Palazzo). Take an uber from airport, as a cab will be much more expensive, just tip the driver if you are going to take a long time at the liquor store.
