$325 freeplay and $100 dining

 

What room type did you have? I feel like room type may be the biggest change if you are already at 4 nights comped, with free play and dining making up any leftover difference.

 

Terrace “suite” with fountain view 4 nights (what I get as room type) maybe $400 free play(depends how much you lost) $100 dining

I heard freeplay is a function of your loss not necessarily coin in but I could be wrong. At least mlife works that way.

 

Deffinately cheaper to self comp vs trying to play for more comps next trip.

 

I was told by a Cosmo host a couple years ago that they go strictly off your theoretical not actual losses. May have changed though?

 

If your loss is a very large multiple of your theo (I won’t disclose what multiple it has to be), loss will give you a higher freeplay amount. Otherwise, we are all theo for offers.

Before they implemented the online booking, I don't recall any of my email or snail mail offers specifying a room type. You found out what room you qualified for when you called to book.

 

Honestly I couldn't guess what my next room offer is from Cosmo.

Some months I get nothing, some months I get a rate, and a few months I might get a 2-nighter with limited days. It just seems like there's 5 different people evaluating my play and they all are thinking different things. I do get $25 FP for stopping in and $50 FP if I get 2500 points in 48 hours, that's the only thing I know is probable but not guaranteed.

For offer expectations, it's also very important to realize we don't just look at the most recent trip to calculate the next offer. We look over a certain time period of trips.

If a guest had a theo of 2000, 2000, 2000 on their 3 trips in our time frame, the average would be 2000.

If on trip 4 in the valid time frame they did 5000 in theo, which is a pretty big jump in terms of their normal play, their average only goes up to 2750. But keep in mind it also works the other way if on trip 4 they played less than they normally do... If they only did 500 in theo on trip 4, the average only drops to 1650.

yep, my latest offer came via email then mail. Just said 2 nights anytime with some freeplay. Didn't say which room but when I logged in and chose the dates I wanted it showed all the different room types that would be comped and let me book whatever I wanted.
