Hey! I have about $800 in CET reward credits and would like to treat for a dinner on our upcoming trip. I also have my $100 diamond cert as well.

There will be 5 of us... I’m looking to not blow the whole amount but putting a significant dent is fine, since I earn them so quickly at the local. Where would you pick that has great food, a nice ambiance, and a good wine list is a plus!

We’ve done HK a few times and even if we wanted to go there, I think it’s a moot point because no OpenTable ressies are available for that weekend, except for 10 pm or after!

Also to consider is one of us is gluten free, so a place that has some GF options would be great!

I can't speak to the wine list, but I'm a pretty big fan of Sea, at Bally's (BLT Steak isn't a bad option either). The only thing to bear in mind is that their spice levels are pretty off; they do a 1-5 scale, and where as I max out at a 4 at Lemongrass (which is a 1-10 scale, at that), a 3 at Sea is practically nothing. They have quite a few GF options.

I thought Mesa Grill was really good. I think the corn tamales were amazing, and also gluten free if I remember correctly

I tried my first pan roast today(at HRH) and they du the 1-5 scale as well. I Jr with 3 and it was hardly spicy. Lemongrass 5 Singapore noodles almost killed me though.

I once saw a woman order at Lemongrass order Pad Thai at an 8. The bartender, the hostess, and two waiters tried to talk her out of it. She insisted she was fine with spicy food.

She practically fell off of her chair a couple bites in.

I think Gordon Ramsay Steak is far and away the best value of any CET Vegas restaurant and is always my first choice.

Others that were OK: Hell's Kitchen, Nobu, Guy Savoy, BLT Steak, Mesa Grill

    Merely eh: Giada, Searsucker, Rao's

Probably won't go again: Koi, Martorano's, Joe's Stone Crab

Would never under any circumstances ever go again: Old Homestead

Haven't been yet: Mr. Chow, Stripsteak

Not remotely a fan of this place. It's a really cool space, but the food is sort of this weird, overly-fancy version of Chinese food. Too much foam added to things. It's not "authentic", but it's also not "Americanized" (which I consider to be two separate cuisines, both delicious), and overall just isn't that good.

+1 for Mesa Grill. Queso appetizer, Pork Tenderloin or the 67-spice* chicken, yum.

*actual number of spices may vary.

Ruth’s Chris at Harrahs. I know it’s a chain but so are a few others mentioned so far.
