Vegas - My Home Away From Home

    Hi,

    I just joined a couple of days ago and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Lisa and I might be what you call a Vegas addict. I live in California, but go to Vegas once a month or more, sometimes on back to back weekends. Everyone says I should just move there, but I feel that if I did, I wouldn't enjoy it quite as much as I do now. It's nice to "get away".

    I honestly have been thinking about starting a youtube channel, since I have a lot of media to post, but wasn't sure if I visited enough to get one started. I'm still thinking about it, we shall see.

    I'm heading out next weekend (06/14) to Mandalay Millions, and most likely the following weekend (06/21) to NYNY, If anyone will be out there on those dates, maybe we can meet up for a quick hello. :)

    I USED to do all the Mandalay Millions for years,,,and got invited to the 3 high ends.Hosts changed, Management changed and on and on. Unfortunately that kinda ended. Now I just do the $500 buy ins. I just can't personally drive over every weekend. I have to fly.

    I getcha. I like the $500 buy-in ones as well. I did the MGM Grand Dual Duel last month and had a blast! I placed top 10 and top 20. :)

    I used to drive up all the time, but now I fly most of the time. Too much wear and tear on the vehicle, and you arrive well rested when you fly.

    Well I'm from Vancouver BC so I have to fly. I envy so many of my Vegas friends who can just drive over from California for a weekend tourney. But we do what we can. I usually only fly down 5 times a year now. I USED to do 8 times? a year...no wonder I'm divorced. Hah!
