    Finishing up some last minute work before I pack and head to YVR to grab flight to Vegas. Wife and I will be staying at Palazzo and taking advantage of Macy gift card giveaway while my brother will be staying at the Linq. Neither wife nor brother are gamblers so will not be my usual degen gambling trip but hope to get a couple of post worthy wins. Will definitely be playing some VP at Cosmo and look forward to seeing @tringlomane and M and @Pleasemum and S again. Only restaurant reservation we have right now is Mesa Grill as wife wants to try it but we have tickets on Friday to these guys.

    and on Saturday to Lost Eighties Live downtown headlined by this group.

    Will be interesting to see how these bands have held up over time (there have been a few 80s groups I have seen recently that were surprisingly good and a couple that should have called it a day long long ago:eek:).

    What time do you leave on the 8th? I have a Tito at the Linq I need to cash on Sunday AM but am staying off strip on the 7th

    Quick question for you Linq experts, my brother asked about the pools there but I have no idea what they are like. Should I just tell him to hang out at the V/P pools?

    Good luck Tony and have a great trip! Don't forget Venetian pool just finished it's remodel so your brother best come check it out! The shrimp tamales at Mesa Grill were excellent when we went but I don't remember what else we had.

    Have a great trip! Had tamales as the side on one of our dishes at Mesa Grill- they were fantastic, can’t say I ever had them before and they were way better than I ever expected! Of all the things we ate there it was actually the stand out and only thing I recall having lol! Enjoy and good luck on the gaming!

    Linq pool is nothing special. Basically just two rectangles with lounge chairs. It tends to get less sun than a lot of pools due to the close proximity of the towers.
