Quick Harrah’s Cherokee 5 hour visit $$,$$$

    Made a quick late Saturday evening early Sunday am visit to my local(ish) casino Harrah’s Cherokee NC. Had $1,400 in free play to use and got two handpays. One on Top Dollar for $1,800 and one on a 5 way reel $10 Double Jackpot slot.

    No my biggest single yet was at the sister property in Murphy NC early January 2019. Hit the Double Diamond Double Diamond Double Diamond on $25 PinBall for 2400 credits....That was a really fun night....and was only at the Casino for around 45 minutes and left before I could even think about refunding that $60,000 hit!!! Took $10,000 in cash for my 2019 play money and the rest in a check so I wouldn't be tempted. :D

    (just slots though..I'll wait until I retire and learn a lot more about cards and play around on the VP circuit...having too much fun AND luck on slots for the time being)

    I'm actually surprised they hand write out checks. Ive never had a win big enough to warrant a check, but I figured it would just be printed. That makes it look like someone just sent you $50k with your birthday card lol

    I wasn’t quite so sensible with that $21k win. Took it all in cash. I do have several Vegas trips over the next 3 weeks after all. Hahahahaha :confused:

    WOW! I have played $25 slots and while they can eat a grand before i finish a rum and coke, they also gave my biggest win. It was years ago and I dont have pics but it was at Foxwoods for $6750 on a Eagle double double, and while not a top prize, I only put a $100 in and bet 1 ! In contrast however, I once fed a machine 7k in AC and it ate every bill without a handpay. I see you only had 1 credit left, just a incredible win sir! you are lucky, at high denom slots are still a bad bet in a way, odds wise, and percentage wise, but you can hit for so much, on blackjack with $75 you cant win better than 2:1, but i also enjoy them more than video poker. I just put that royal flush as my picture because it was my last good hit. I quit going to casinos 6 months ago after a large loss for me on slots and baccarat of around 4k. I have been playing online poker and winning a few hundred a month back doing that, no casino trips and working 2 jobs. doing this allowed me to save $20k and buy a nice new ride cash( plus my lexus trade too) new ride is sick! you are lucky boone, keep winnin!

    Heading back up Cherokee's sister property "Murphy" this Saturday, late pm Sunday early am, to use ~$1,400 in freeplay. hoping for some nice $$$$$ returns.
