When will you be willing to return to Vegas?

The Beau Rivage is opening on June 1st. Very nice MLIFE property in Biloxi.

 

Going to Vegas June 18-21. Bellagio. Plan was Delano but not opening until at least July 1. I work in an ER, honestly won’t be exposed to anything I haven’t already been exposed to, probably a lot less. Just lots of hand washing and hand sanitizer will do for me. I always wipe down shared surfaces in the hotel room anyway so that won’t change.

Had to change my trip plans 3 times. Glad it’s finally going to happen.

 

Louisiana casinos opened this past Monday. No set plans yet for me. July vegas trip is still on the books but is up in the air due to gf’s travel restrictions due to work. My job? We are 100% remote plus I’ve got the PTO i would’ve used 3 weeks ago. If I were single I would consider taking an extended trip and offset it some with logging in remote.

 

The "If I were single" quote hit me funny....whenever I use that one, Mrs MN says "That can be arranged"

 

I dare not say that out loud.

 

Are you going to go? Vegas is a no go for me at this point.

 

Definitely getting up early on 6/5 and driving north on I-15!

 

Haven't posted here in a while, but just got back from Viejas casino in San Diego. Gotta say, I felt really safe there. They took everyone's temperature before entering and asked about any symptoms, as well as enforcing the wearing of a mask As expected, every other slot machine was deactivated and only 3 people per gaming table.

No food allowed on casino floor, but still allowed to smoke (other than designated non smoking sections). I have never been to this casino before, but they had a couple large non smoking sections with what looked to be temporary signs, so I suspect they weren't all there before.

Many tables with hand sanitizer, and the staff really seemed on top of it all.

It was a bit difficult to find good slot machines to sit and play at, and hardly ever a seat at a table, but still a very enjoyable experience.

I honestly felt safer there than going to target or the grocery store!

 

I am just curious how people can smoke with the masks on, did you see people not wearing masks so they could smoke? I would not want to breath in the smoke from people who are Covid 19 positive but asymptomatic.

 

People would just shift their mask down to smoke or drink. People seemed to be very respectful about it.

Vegas Gaming board presents Tuesday. Maybe Sisolak is waiting on that? Called VIP Mlife they said MGM opens July 1, with Bellagio and NyNy opening in June. I booked Bellagio, but then pushed our group trip to last weekend July. so I'm interested in what else will be open. This is the ONLY place I can express this and not feel like an isolated degenerate. Haha. Thanks for allowing the discussion! Stay safe and gamble on

Likely I won’t be coaching youth football this year due to uncertainty if we would play and sign-ups are at ZERO right now. If that’s the case then I will see you for at least a day my friend!
