Cosmo posted a full list of what's going to be available at reopening:

    https://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/travel-information-covid-19

It's much more user-friendly than what a lot of other places have done, since it has everything in one place. Looks like they're going to have a pretty full roster, though I could imagine the Block 16 spaces being tricky to navigate. Pretty much everything will be open in some capacity, with the notable exception of Momofuku.

    No secret pizza though.

Not bad other then better not get hungry late at night with everything closing at 10pm other than the Henry until 2.

I guess without the late night party crowd they expect to be pretty slow late at night.

I agree that it's a pretty solid selection overall. I'd be able to live with what will be open and wouldn't really miss what won't be (except for the Va Bene pastries which are friggin delicious... though I always get my coffee at Starbucks first).

Rose. Rabbit. Lie. (expensive to operate), Wicked Spoon (for obvious reasons), and Va Bene all closed as well--meaning no dining in the Chelsea Tower. The Barbershop closed as well.

The Momofuku group has been closing restaurants. I'd be surprised if they reopened in the near term. I'd also be questioning if they'll reopen at all.

I think I saw somewhere that they were only opening the Boulevard tower at first. Not sure

No loss if Momofuku doesn’t reopen. IMHO, having been to several of his restaurants in NY, TO and LV, let’s just say that I appreciate Chang giving Tosi her start.
He’s still supposed to open a Noodle Bar in Vancouver but I suspect it will flop; it’s a crazy competitive ramen town.

I saw that and was going to point it out. Honestly, Momofuku was always packed in my experience, but Chang is definitely retrenching. I could see them leaving the Peach Bar open for ramen, appetizers, and the like, but not the huge main dining room. I really do like his restaurants (I even liked Ssam bar after winding up there accidentally), I think he's just too smart to rush into things.

Momofuku ramen is really the one thing I miss. There are tons of great restaurants, but honestly, most of the ones I wouldn't go to just casually for lunch, maybe Holstein's, but Momofuku was always a go-to. I'll definitely take what I can get, though!

Definitely makes sense. I could maybe see the actual haircut part of Barbershop opening, but highly unlikely if they have the salon open; it's not like lots of people are getting barber cuts in Vegas unless they're planning a night out, which isn't happening soon. And nightclubs are a no-go for the time being (I think the barber portion might fall under that nightclub license, I'm not positive). Rose. Rabbit. Lie. has been treading water for a while, it's a huge space and dependent on entertainment/novelty; for the same reason, I'm actually little surprised that Mayfair is reopening, but we'll see how that works out.

I just spoke with a reservation rep tonight, and asked that specific question. He said both towers will be open, but not all rooms.
Course he coulda been talking out of his ass... I'm sure we will find out soon enough!

The issue I see with opening only the boulevard tower is it doesn't have enough elevators, and keeping people separated will be very difficult in the little hallway. I'd hope they use both towers to keep the traffic spread out. Not that they asked me for my opinion.

100% true. The elevators are always a hot mess and way more crowded in Boulevard Tower though the location (usually) makes up for that.

That's what happens when you build a resort in a parking lot ;)

I do think the elevators will be an issue. Even corporate and residential places in Vegas are being very careful about allowing too many people in elevators. I've been at Cosmo with 20+ people crammed in there, I can't imagine that'll fly nowadays.

Yeah it makes more sense to keep both towers open just at lower occupancy for elevator purposes. Plus from what I understand the room cleaning process will take longer so it’s most likely that a room that someone checks out of won’t be occupied for the next 24 hours, meaning not all rooms will be available each night.

My host told me last week that only Boulevard would be open. But, I think the situation is fluid....Maybe more demand than they thought? I am thinking the Girls' Trip from June 8th -12th is on at Cosmo . Instead of the the six, there are only two. I think that makes for a great trip report title, "And then there were two.." Super excited.

I just received an email from my host. They are opening select floors of the Chelsea to accommodate two bed requests, as there are no queens in the Boulevard. My bestie and I are not fans of sharing a bed and it looks like we won't have to now!
