    Ron went downstairs to Walgreens and picked up a styrofoam cooler, beer, cashews and honey buns. All the necessities!

    After taking a snack break in the room, he’s playing a little at Venetian before dinner.

    Besides the 2 pics above, he said most of hits at his first session were small, between $12-$30. But since we keep all wins over $10, those will add up.

    Oh and no problem getting drink service on the floor so far.

    $160 ended up being Ron’s biggest win, but he had enough small wins to end up just above even.

    Day 1 Totals:
    Played on $400
    Ended with $421
    Up $21 after 1 day

    Not a bad start!

    As far as virus safety, he says there are many attendants cleaning machines and everyone he saw was wearing a mask. The restrooms were being kept especially clean as well. Venetian was much busier tonight than Palazzo.

    We have 3 Grimaldis near us. I like their salad more than the pizza.
    Wish great luck in the tournament for Ron.
    I am getting the tournament offers again from Venetian or $25 free play with 3 nights.

    Great report so far! Nothing wrong with treading water when it comes to gambling dollars. A non-win is still better than any loss!

    Also, we pack our own straws too. Not for mask issues, last time I was in Vegas only the Super Heroes in front of Plant Ho wore masks. We pack them since I cant use those shitty paper straws that are all over now. Especially at Mlife resorts. Good for the environment or not, they are nearly unusable!

    Unfortunately his first round wasn’t good. You need to average over 1 million in each round to win anything decent.

    Ron stopped by the very empty pool area to check out the mask situation.

    YES you must wear a mask if sitting in a lounge chair. You can take it off only when swimming.

    He says most people are now wearing masks, even outside. But it’s really dead out on the strip. No wonder places are closing or have limited hours during the week.
