Is Dirty THIRTY-THREE a thing?!? 7/16-7/19 Birthday Trip at MGM SKYLOFTS! [emoji485]

Oops well that one live-ish got away from me!

Nothing else exciting to report from Friday night. Had dinner at Morimoto which was great as always and then called it a day! I was EXHAUSTED!

**7/17**
Waking up to this strip view wasn’t bad!

I see you down there Mansion!

Got up with good intentions to go to the gym but walking down there Starbucks and slots looked like a better option so grabbed that instead. Really wishing that I wouldn’t have skipped those 3 mornings now that I’m dying on the treadmill typing this.

I guess it was an ok call though because got a play and snag this one…


Rolled back upstairs at 9ish to get ready for the day. Had brunch reservations at Catch so we walked over a little early and got an ass kicking at Aria before eating all the delicious things! Catch Brunch is a MUST! It was probably the best meal we have eaten in a long time! Very Instagrammy too!

The BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO I have ever eaten!


And these crispy tuna things that we had to have twice!


Washed it down with some Rose bubbles! Great start to the birthday!!

Ok enough food, time to roll back to MGM!

Already hot as heck walking back to MGM at noon! This is why I never leave property!

Didn’t take long for Top Dollar to make my day after we got back!


Biggest one I have hit on this machine to date… it’s my second favorite machine in this HL room.
And then a few spins later…


Was really needing this good run after the losses on Friday night! A few more quick ones!




The casino was definitely crowded this trip and it seemed like everyone wanted on the same machines!
I’m pretty sure more drinks at the mansion bar happened after these and then a nice losing session at 3 card poker
Never could get on a roll at the that table this trip.

Up to the room for a bit to change for dinner!

7/17 Birthday Dinner

Okkkayyyy so I’m usually not a complainer but I just have to say… the food… at Hakkasan… is subpar. Maybe I was just expecting something over the top (which the atmosphere was!) but it was just not my favorite. Gorgeous entrance and I would love to sit at the bar for drinks, but I don’t think I’ll be wanting to go back for dinner anytime soon.







I didn’t even take a picture of the main dishes because they looked like they were from Panda Express.
This bottle was phenomenal however after a little back and forth with the “somm”…


And this chocolate dessert was pretty great so not a complete bust!


I did hit 2 small handpays after but forgot to take pictures pretty sure they were both on the happy lantern machine though!

Great birthday filled with some good wins but went to bed down for the trip! That first day was really a setback.

7/18 Sunday Funday!

This was from the first day but I spent every morning like this just looking at the view! I really love the lofts more and more every time we go! This one was a great strip view right off the elevator with a little different layout. Felt more open. The service was EXCELLENT from check in to check out and they really took care of everything we asked for!



The original plan was to spend a day at the pool but host said the cabanas were running $2k for the weekends which juts isn’t worth it to us for 2 people when we only like to go a few hours. So we cancelled that the night before.

Headed down to play and get coffee pretty early and snagged both of these.





This was the most I have ever played Lightning Link and have to say they are quickly becoming my favorites. If only MGM would get Best Bet!

Had plans to go over to Lago for Brunch but had a craving for the lobster sandwich at the Mansion instead so called for last minute lunch resy! It’s always so peaceful and nice to take a break to eat in here!





We did walk over to Park MGM at some point after this just to get outside because it was pretty cool and even looked like it might rain! Good thing we didn’t go to the pool after all!
Came back to the grand pretty quick though!

A few more wins but I’m not sure what order they came in afternoons get fuzzy!

Okay maybe I can finish this one up today!
Work getting in the way of my trip reporting!

I’m sure more drinks ensued for the afternoon and must have been some heavier losses. We decided on Craftsteak for dinner, FINALLY able to sit at a fully open bar there and enjoy a nice meal!
Kerry was our bartender/waiter and he was phenomenal! Lots of good chats for a few hours! Ordered a bottle of FUTO OVSL and the Waygu Skirt steak which was amazing! This is our favorite place to just have a nice chill meal. The dining room is great but we prefer the bar!

Was able to hit this one after dinner but that was it for handpays…


Tried all weekend to get that major to pop and it never would… lots of time spent kicked back like this or hammering them both at the same time…



And then I guess I was tired and went to bed

7/19 Time to go home!

We have tried to make a habit of sleeping in a little on the day we leave and order skyloft breakfast! I wake up so early normally that it’s nice to enjoy the room for a bit.

Southwest delay went off at 6:30 so we knew we had a little extra time anyways.
After breakfast got all packed up and went down to play some.
Got downstairs and about panicked because I thought they were moving some of my favorites out of the high limit room. Turns out they were just running new cables to some old ones… whew.



Finally able to get a winning session on my absolute FAVORITE machine!


And then snagged this one right before we left!


All in all it was a FUN TRIP but a losing one! Here’s the final damage just off my card…..




No hiccups at the airport and a smooth flight back to the flat land!

Hopefully I can continue this one or start a new one when we are back in 16 days for an upgrade to the 2 bedroom loft, thanks to the MIL going!! Thanks for all the birthday wishes and following along!

Those black ones are Gianni Bini, totally not expensive and VERY comfy. I have them in these zippys and pumps and they are my favorites. Probably a 4in heel with 3/4” platform, that’s the trick
The only heels I can walk for hours in!
Those brown ones in the other pics are wedges from Michael Kors that took probably a year to break in do not recommend lol
I have red bottoms but that pain just isn’t worth it
