Hi everyone! So, I'm trying to be better and a little more involved, so....I decided to start this thread for anyone who may be currently playing WSOP events this year, or plan on playing this year or in the future. I'll be out the 16th thru 20th and plan on playing the one day event on June 19th. It's the $1k Super Turbo Bounty.

I figured it could be nice to post what tournaments we are playing, chip counts, cashes, etc.

Good luck and I hope we see some of us at some final tables!

Was mulling playing in event 25, NHL deep stack but have played so little in the last few years thinking I’ll probably donk myself into a quick exit. But who knows might make a last minute decision to enter. Will definitely be checking it out on my upcoming trip if only to see how different it is from the Rio set up.
    Good luck in your tourney!

I'll definitely check it out this year, but likely will write off an afternoon playing sats (would sell the lammers) or maybe some cash PLO, but it is a youngsters game nowadays, the years of folding into the money are long gone :D

I've certainly no interest in wasting a few days playing a slow structure and then not cashing anyway, $1K STB sounds like a great choice.

Nowadays "I'd like to buy in to your 5pm 2nd chance" has been replaced with "gimme $540 across and $50 each the hardways..." more fun and less of a time sink!!

Doesn’t surprise me that Covid is running amok-you’re sitting for hours with strangers in close proximity. Seemed a little less packed than precovid but still very busy. Wynn and Venetian poker rooms were also very busy.

Yeah, I've seen all the covid stuff online with people talking about it. Going to check out some other poker rooms while there. Resorts World has a really good noon tournament for $160. Good structure.

I guess we'll let you join...
A lot of people in close proximity to one another for extended periods of time. Mostly young people who didn't get boosted or if they got boosted, it's mostly out of date. Masks optional. Sounds like a riskier place to be than average to me.

Well done jyen! Great run going deep in the tourney. It was your first experience at the WSOP, will you be playing other events? Was it everything you hoped?

In the future yes but not this trip.

It was a fun experience, I've learn that you will have to super fresh and prepare for a mental torture. Lol

Playing 12 hrs day is like working !!! I was glad that I ate light for breakfast, I couldn't imagine if I had food coma during the game.

I wore mask at all times and that sort of bother me a little bit. On a positive note, I hope it hides all my giveaways:)
