I got my Venetian host a pass as well as he's coming with me and I'd say he's in the industry as much as me.

 

I just input the name of a Forum. So one of the forums I'm on, I'm a "senior member". So I just input that. Did the same for my partner. They don't check any form of verification like CES does. In fact last year, there were a lot of people there in beyond casual clothes and you could tell they weren't there for business. I just dressed in nice jeans and a button up to not look so casual.

 

Diana, with your videos and contributions to casinos all over Vegas... I'd say you're definitely "in the industry".

I go as owner of lasvegasdaze.com which means if the booths check my badge that I'm not eligible for any of their contests which is only usually for people that work for the casinos.

Just a heads up to all who might attend that in years past anyone at the expo could enter the contests but last year most booths looked at badges and if you weren't affiliated with a company they did business with you were not able to enter. There is usually also a large food booth with sample items and they scan badges as it's for a one time entry (or at least it has been) and unless they have changed the policy for that you are allowed to enter that booth that is enclosed.

 

@VegasChic & @Hoofy7 I need some advice! I ran the idea of flying down from my business trip in C Springs on Tues and staying through Friday by my real boss and she said, "You can do whatever you want, but I'll be jealous if you go..." So I know what that means, but would it be worth it???

 

She might fly out just to divorce me!

Lol You have to use your real name so it matches to get in. I just made up a fake business called Handpay because I thought it was funny. Looks like the majority are staying at Palazzo and Cosmo. Venetian and Palazzo are convenient for attending G2E. I'd tell you where NOT to stay though! ARIA!!!!

 

LOL I still like Aria as a casino just not the hotel. Housekeeping over there is a mess.

Lol...I almost had a pphold moment this past weekend, when it was looking like they were doing a bait and switch on me, with regards to my offer. I just found out I got even better than expected...hahaha!

BTW, you all are the worst enablers, I used to be sane and rational with my vacations. I think you're the ones my mother warned me about...

 

I'm looking under Vegas meet ups and all that but not finding the Happy Hour post you made VegasChic? I was thinking it was 5-6pm at Table 10 on which day? Lol I need to put it all in my planner. I'm probably going to just make a reservation there for dinner afterwards.
