Riders - Pre-Madness TR - March 15-18th - MGM - Venetian - and others

I had planned to start this yesterday but as you can tell, it got away from me and I am little late to the party.

After many sleepless nights and too much angst .... well, a couple minutes of lost sleep, I figured I would do my upcoming trip report here. I am active both here and at VB but have pretty much dropped VMB altogether. Many of the people that I have met in person post on both of these sites now, so I bounce between them. Being the selfish one, I will say, it would have been nice if there was just one option beyond VMB but I think I understand the direction of each. OK, enough of the pontificating and onto better things.

TRIP OVERVIEW:

This is a work trip to attend a trade show happening at the Sands Expo. The company is paying the room there and I have my grazie card tied to it and 4 other rooms. Hopefully, it will provide some good points.

I am actually staying at MGM (as I almost always do). My buddy (TT) and I have a Marquee suite booked and a number of dinners set up.
- Carbone - with TT, host and hubby on Tuesday night
- Craftsteak - with TT - Wednesday night
- Yellowtail - with TT and his sister - Thursday night (before they go to O)

Plan to attend the Slot Pull at Wynn on Thursday night.

I also have Wynn booked for $500 freeplay and PH for the same reason.

Since I am already into this by a day, I will go over the highlights of yesterday and start adding pictures as I get a moment.


Tuesday -

Arrive Tuesday morning around 11am. Got checked into MGM.

Headed to Venetian to check in all the rooms. Went quick, they over to Wynn.

Checked into Wynn. Had freeplay loaded and proceeded to play. Did about 2500 points in a little less than a couple hours. A couple handpays but only walked out up about $1000. (pics are coming)

Headed back to MGM to meet TT. While waiting, I hit the HL room for some VP action. A couple more handpays and then TT and I grabbed a couple drinks at WD. Some more VP with one good hit.

Headed to Aria for dinner at Carbone. Went over a little earlier to play some. Could not win a thing there (just like the last trip). Dinner was great. (pics coming)

Back to MGM for some more play .... stopped around 1:30am - which put me up about 23 hours.

Wednesday -

Got up fairly early around 6am. Was out and walking over to PH by 7:30am. Nice walk with no one out but those pesky runners. Tried to check in eaerly but wasn't available. Did get my freeplay and played for a couple hours. Did about 2600 TC. A couple nice hits (pics coming). Headed over to Venetian for work show.

This is about where the live report will start. Won't be much play for the next few hours with work but should give me time to upload a 100 pics ... or so.
