I always forget to track this in Vegas- but mean to do it!! Thanks for the reminder!! Wish I had done that on the trips I walked from Cosmo to Fashion Show Mall plus all the other strip meandering. Never looks as far as it actually is.......

I started wearing a fitbit a year or so ago and just have to look. I normally do almost double that a couple of the days but too much going on this time. Always interesting to see.

You do it at Disney at all this trip? G/f logged 20k+ step days on most of our full days. My lower back was occasionally saying "fuck you".

Exceptional reporting and pics....thank you so much! Good to see there are some VP players here. Enjoyed all the food porn; I made mental notes.

I believe we have quite a few VP players here now. In fact, I know quite a few members converted... Even myself.

There are definitely some VP players around here and I have been playing more lately.

Thanks for the comments. All the food was great this trip.

For those interested in numbers. I will post some of play hand information. I generally just track 4oaKs and other notable hands to me. I would say about 90% of the play this time was at Dollars. 63% on STP, 35% DSTP and 2% non-STP. All DDB. Based on my last trip where I played almost all DSTP, the multipliers definitely happened a lot less that I would have liked but neither MGM or Venetian/P had DSTP at dollars and Venetian only had STP on 5 play, no 10 play. I didn't find it at Quarters at V/P and MGM only has one machine.

    Quarter Level :
    Royal Flush – 0
    Straight Flush – 0
    A’s with kicker - 1
    A’s – 4 (5x)
    2-4s with kicker – 1
    2-4s – 2
    5-Ks – 14

    Dollar Level :
    Royal Flush – 1
    Straight Flush – 2
    A’s with kicker - 3
    A’s – 9
    2-4s with kicker – 4
    2-4s – 16 (3x, (2)5x)
    5-Ks – 46 (3x, 2x)

    Total number of 4oaK - 101

Other notable hands (to me at least)

    10x Dealt 3oak (1500)
    5x Dealt Full House (2000)
    4x Dealt Full House (1600)

I will update all my other play information when I get a moment. I just got my stats from Planet Hollywood last night. I have no idea how to get my number for Wynn since I don't have a host there, so I am making some estimates based on what I know.

You definitely get in more volume in than I do with those 10-liners. I just got my 300th quad (2 royals, since my smartphone era (Oct. 2013...yes I was wayyyy behind. lol).

    17 Aces out of 101 is pretty good! I'm 21 of 301...doh! 2 Royals and 14 straight flushes...ack

Hopefully you will find more multiplied hits next time!

Since I jumped in with both feet about 6 months ago, I have put in some volume at either 5 play or 10 play. Started at quarters but jumped to Dollars this last trip.

You got me curious on what those numbers would look like, so I went back and looked. I just took the last 3 Vegas trips (oct, dec and now march). I had a couple trips to Winstar and one to Hard Rock, Hollywood, FL. They would add to it but not as much.

    Over the last 3 Vegas trips, I have had 339 quads. 3 royals (had 2 more but not in Vegas), 18 straight Flushes, 11 - AwK, 28 - A's, 42 - 2-4wK, 73 - 2-4's.. the remaining 185 were 5-K's. (yes, I like numbers)

On a side note, I know it was mentioned by @BeeJay that he was having better luck at Bonus Poker and getting 400 for all quads was better for him. I ran the numbers and so far DDB has been better for me by about 17850 credits using the above numbers. I hope I did those right. I almost decided to move from DDB but I think I will stick with as long as I am putting in the volume to hit those premium quads.

I will update this TR with my play numbers when I get a chance but I think I put just over $250K in coin-in last week.

Thankfully, I take a lot of pictures of my VP play. I just have to look through them. Otherwise, I would be completely lost on what I had.

Thanks for the kind words and it was great seeing you and everyone else again.

I will be back out July 19-22nd for sure but probably make another trip before then. Most of my trips always seem to be in the Fall.

Here are some more numbers for anyone still reading:

I had 4 hotels booked at the same time. Checked into all 4. All but the Venetian was comped upfront. Venetian room was covered by business expense for the show I was attending.

    MGM Grand – 3 Nights (Tues-Fri) – Marquee Suite (2 bedroom)
    - Sharing with a good friend and he is just as much as a degen as I am
    Venetian – 3 Nights (Tues-Fri) – Standard King
    Wynn – 3 Nights (Tues-Fri) – Standard King
Planet Hollywood – 1 Night (Wed-Thurs) – Junior Suite (Originally booked 2 nights to get FreePlay but checked out early to keep ADT up)

    Final Numbers –

    All Properties:
    • Total Coin-In - $254,842
    • Total Theo - $8,682
    • Total Loss - $8,500 (per my wallet)
    • Total Comps - $ ????

I made Gold at Venetian, reconfirmed Platinum at MGM and Diamond at CET. I don’t see me hitting Platinum at Venetian (huge swing from 20K to 175K) but you never know. Will probably get to DAL 1 or 2 at CET with a couple trips and some play across the US. With that said, it might be fun to give Cosmo a try on a future trip to see what I can get out them. I know where I fit in the player the hierarchy and understand I am not at the level of a few on here. I did enjoy bouncing around but it was very busy with full work days on Wed, Thursday and Friday morning. Next trip will be for fun only. Will probably go back to MGM only for my July trip. I am pretty sure I missed something, so please ask if you have any questions.

Was great to meet you Riders! Without you I don't think we would have lasted as long in the HL pull or broken even. :)

Really enjoyable trip report and your photos are terrific! The photos of Craftsteak reminded me how much I used to like that restaurant. I stopped going there because it was so inconsistent as I would have a great dinner there one month and then 3 months later it and service would be average, then back to good, and so forth until I stopped going. It's been a while though and perhaps management is back to being consistently good and I should give it another chance.

I also played that darn Irish Ladies game at Venetian last trip and unlike Derek, Vegaschic and others who have won big on it I had a bonus and video of 5 spins last trip that paid $100.00. :(

Hope we run into each other again this year in Vegas!

Thanks for report. Just finished it.

    few things:
    1) Does the b12 interfere with sleep? ( to be fair my sleep sucks in Vegas anyway)

    2) Have you actually stayed overnight in a pho room? Every photo i see of their rooms the ceilings look so low and subsequently the room so claustrophobic. It's like a gambling shire.

    3) I have only player LIR at pho as I loved the extra carney action on the 1mill royal - that still there?
