    Come on, y'all. Let's take a ride. It's time for Geotwink and I to head west for a few days. Flight from MSP leaving at 8:25, right about the time the alma mater Cyclones face off against the Frank Purdue Boilerchickens. Hopefully the Delta sled will be a newer model with TV's so I can keep all the youngin's awake with my shameless cheering.

    Our first stay at the Cromwell. I have heard the rooms are a bit on the smaller side and rather dark, but you can't beat the location. No big plans except for sitting my ass in the book for Sunday's games, using a $100 food credit at Rao's, grabbing one of those monster milkshakes at Holstein's, and giving the Miyagi and Raspberry Lemon Drop a whirl at Cosmo.

    Here's your worthless trivia bit for the day. Remember the movie, "Can't Buy Me Love," with McDreamy as the nerdy kid who pays the now deceased Amanda Peterson to pretend to like him to become popular, then astounds us with the African Anteater Ritual? The Hispanic jock in that movie is Gerardo, the dude who recorded, "Rico Suave."

    Just remember, you can't have the hop if you don't have the hip. Let's roll.

    They struggle against big teams who can rebound, like Purdue. I have the 'Neers going deep!
    As often as Geotwink lets me! We can always get direct flights from MSP on Delta or Sun Country for around $300.

    Hitting SW and NW Iowa on a geocaching trip next weekend. Wonder if they have casinos in those areas...:cool:

    Surprised MSP isn't cheaper for flights

    Sounds like a great line up of events! If at Cosmo you may want to check out the fire eating dragon drink too, just returned on their drink menu Friday of last week apparently and looks pretty cool!
    Good luck....first on getting outta the airport, then for a winning trip! o_O

    Ive never seen UV and Kinky in airplane bottles (nips). I sell those Twisted shots lol, I was told they came from shark tank (curiosity, how much was it?).

    Wheels on the ground finally after a 2-hour delay. Satellite TV didn't work on the plane either so I missed the 19 point comeback and subsequent piss down leg for Iowa State. Time to head to Cromwell.

    Bronco, the shots and nips are all between $2 and $3 here depending on where you shop. Geotwink's family uses them for adult Easter egg hunts.

    Hey Habibi, they may have been pitched on the shark tank, but we've had those in Canadian liquor store since I was 18 and that was 15 years ago.
