4/3 - 4/6 - Live - Mandalay Bay

Good afternoon!
I've been debating how early to start my trip report, but decided to do it here at work where I have a computer instead of starting in at home where I only have a phone.

• Dates: 4/3 - 4/6
• Where: Mandalay Bay - 2 bedroom Panoramic King Suite - and I'm all alone!
• What: $1000 in food and beverage for little old me to use in 3 days!
• FP: Only $175
  My flight leaves CT at 6:50am, that means I'll be waking up at 3:30am to get ready, then drive to airport parking (only a 10 minute drive) and hopefully get to the airport by 6am, leaving only 20 minutes til boarding starts (but Southwest never boards on time!).
  
  Arrival in Vegas will be 9:40am! Very early.
  I'm a victim of MGM's PGP (Profit Growth Plan) and my host decided to NOT give me a limo. So, first of 33 trips where I'll be taking an Uber to my casino destination.
  
  Day 1 - 4/3: (all plans are tentative!)
  
• Checkin
• Take pics of room
• Fleur - for brunch and drinks
• Gamble at Mandalay Bay
• Ask Mandalay host if I can dump Bob Rosati
• Red Square for 4pm happy hour - Moscow Mules
• RxBoiler room for 5pm happy hour
• Gamble
• Tender at Luxor for Dinner
• Gamble
• If I'm still awake at 9pm (meaning I'd been up more than 24 hours), check out the new Skyfall Lounge at Delano for drinks
  
  Day 2 - 4/4:
  
• Wake up (it will probably be like 5am cause I'm on East Coast time), Pedialyte, Extra Strength Excedrin
• Maybe a light meal if feeling ok
• Either walk or Uber to Bellagio
• Lago -meet NhChris at Lago at Bellagio and let her help me eat some of my F&B
• Gamble a bit more at Bellagio
• Cosmo - try a Verbena, finally! - Have some more drinks at Cosmo
• Maybe get Secret Pizza slice
• Gamble a good amount at Cosmo - I think I want to go here for my next trip instead of an MGM property
• Gamble at ARIA
• Sage or Lemongrass for dinner at ARIA
• Maybe hook up with Treyster and Linda at some point today?
• Gamble more at Aria
• Maybe get 5-0 Pizza slice
• Back to Mandalay to gamble or crash
  
  Day 3 - 4/5: (all plans today are very tentative)
  
• Wake up whenever
• Maybe room service breakfast
• Maybe gamble at Mandalay or go back to Bellagio/Aria depending on how Mandalay has treated me
• Or gamble at NYNY
• Maybe go to MGM to eat at Wolfgang Puck's place
• Gamble at MGM
• Joel Robuchon L'Atelier - maybe do the tasting menu: OR
• Shibuya - do the tasting menu?
• Plans for the 3rd day are pretty flexible
• Try to use up the entire $1000
  
  Day 4 - 4/6:
  
• Room Service Breakfast
• I never play my last day - maybe go see Shark Reef again
• Or watch an in-room movie
• Or whatever!
• Go home with all of my original bankroll plus a lot more!!! $$$
• Checkout 3pm

 

When I booked it, I thought I'd find someone who wanted the other room. No one jumped at it. Oh well. And no, I don't even want to talk to Bob Rosati!

Thanks, pphold! I like being outdoors in Vegas. Walk will depend how my bankroll held up 1st day and how hungover I am!
