Hi Everyone. This is my first visit since joining and thought I'd write my TR as live as possible. We are not high rollers as I see that many on here are but we do love Vegas.

DH and I go to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year but never before in June. I had received an email that Boston would be performing in Vegas and mentioned it to DH.....full disclosure.....I didn't tell him where they were playing! His response was "great, book the tickets", so being the good wife that I am...I did! Then I filled him in on the details and let him know he needed to book a week off work.

I looked to see if any other headliners were in town this week and saw that Jerry Seinfeld is here the following night, so both shows booked. DH has come around over the years, at the beginning I was lucky to get him to sit and put $20 in a machine, now he'll play for a good amount of time before wanting a diversion. He loves going to the shows, so we try and do 2 every trip.

I've booked the Wynn Country Club brunch for father's day and found out its restaurant week, so hoping to try a few new places.

    June 17th - Day 1

Flight out from Vancouver via WJ, no issues and our luggage arrived! Logged onto Lyft to request a pickup but it was acting really wacky, almost gave up and grabbed a cab but DH's patience prevailed and he was able to get the app corrected.

Went to Valet area and our driver came within minutes. He was confused because he said we requested to be dropped off at the airport. We assured him that we requested a ride to the Jockey club, near the Cosmo, not to be dropped off and picked up at the same location. He questioned where the Jockey Club was and I gave him the address and advised it was near the Cosmo. This was our first stay at the Jockey club so I wasn't much help.

On our previous trip we had some amazing drivers, not the case this time. The driver was constantly on his phone texting and blasting some very racist music. I was sure I was mishearing the lyrics so I kept quiet because so much was going on with this driver. He pulled up and before I even realized where we were he was hauling our luggage out of the car, it was only then I realize he dropped us off at the Cosmo, not impressed. I turned to DH and said "what did you think of the...", didn't get a chance to finish my sentence and he said "the music...yeah totally racist". This was the first driver I had a negative review on. Fare was just under $13.

Once we got our bearings we were able to walk to the Jockey club towing our luggage, not impressed but what can you do. Check in was quick. The room was fully equipped with a kitchen and dining room, a bit bummed that they don't have laundry in the suite. We were there less than an hour and in walks housekeeping, she apologized and left promptly.

We change and head down the strip to The Park Theatre, we were here to see Boston and Night Ranger! This was the reason for booking a June trip, I had no idea the EDC was the same weekend and that hotel rates would skyrocket. We wanted to grab a quick bite, our tradition of the midnight steak dinner at America for our first Vegas meal is now dead!

We walked past Bobby's Burger Palace and decided to give it a go. We shared the Dallas burger cooked medium well and the combined "undecided" order of fries and onion rings along with a lemonade. Total was $22. The burger was juicy and the toppings were a great combination with the coleslaw and bbq sauce. The fries were plain but the fry sauce served with them was really great as were the crunchy onion rings. They also kept coming around and filling up our lemonade, free refills are always a nice touch.

Completely satisfied with our food choice we continued our walk to the Park Theatre. We arrived early after I had read reports that it was a bit of a gong show to get through security. We need not have worried, we lined up and went through security quite quickly. Bought our obligatory T-shirts, a margarita and grabbed our seats. The drink was $15 for two very gererous shots included.

Night Ranger was the opening band and was promptly on at 8, they sounded terrific playing many favorites including Sister Christian. So great with so much energy and talent. They played a 45 minute set, intermission and then Boston took the stage around 9:20 and the crowd went wild. Playing some newer songs as well as their older hits, including my all time favorite "Amanda". They played until after 11 and we truly enjoyed the show, but could have definitely done without the female vocalist leading on a few songs and the 20 minute instrumental segment.

A walk back up the strip had us stopping in at Cosmo. We played the Wonka machines while enjoying a few raspberry lemon drop martinis. Promising myself we'd call it a night at a decent time due to our morning brunch reservations at the Wynn Country Club in the morning. I thought we were due a "do over" since the last time we ate here we were a bit under the weather from a bit of too much drinking and staying up way too late. No great losses or wins and we called it a night.

    June 18th - Day 2

I had set the alarm so we didn't over sleep and miss our reservation for brunch at the Country Club. No need to worry, housekeeping attempted to open our door again this morning while we were still sleeping. We had put the bolt on so she couldn't get in, but by the time she tried her room key for the 5th or 6th time I was wide awake and went to the door. She said she was "just checking" I'm assuming to see if we had checked out but surely they have a better system then to randomly check rooms.

Well we were up and decided to get ready and go check out. Again a very smooth process. I love the location of the Jockey Club and the beds were super comfy but I don't see staying there again. Housekeeping really put us off, along with no in suite laundry and the famous view of the cement wall is just too many negatives.

We decided to just grab a cab to the Wynn since we didn't want the hassle of Lyft drivers trying to find us. The cab fare was just under $9 and the cabbie was a very nice and courteous man. We dropped our bags off at the bell desk and when asked departure or arrival I made the mistake of saying arrival. Tipped a few bucks and headed to the Country Club.

A small line up to get in and we were seated outside, which was by request. Yes it is freaky hot but we were so happy to see some sunshine and the atmosphere of sitting outside beats being inside, but that's our preference. The hostess did let us know that if we found it to be too warm she could seat us inside, a nice offer but we stayed outside for the duration of our brunch. The music from the Jazz band playing inside, is also heard outside via speakers, this was asked of me last time so I made a point of paying attention on this visit!

Our servers were John and Laura, we had Laura last time so knew we would be well taken care of. They were both fabulous and attentive without being intrusive. The brunch price includes unlimited coffee, tea, juice and sodas. DH ordered the Heritage bottomless pour for $35 which is unlimited mimosas, bellinis, bloody mary's, sangria and Berlucchi Franciacorta Rose. I went with a speciality cocktail, a pineapple on rye....wow it was delicious. I think DH tried everything with the exception of the Bloody Mary and all were very good.

    https:/…CC_drinks.jpg

The buffet area has improved since our last visit. They have moved the dessert section near the bar and have all the individual offerings displayed in a glass case, there is quite a large variety to choose from. This meant they had room and expanded the buffet. The usual salad offerings were there along with both scallop and oyster ceviches, scallop one was excellent. Jumbo shrimp, crab legs, sushi to name just a few seafood selections. Their cavery section had everything from prime rib, pork chops, sirloin and chicken and apple sausage, this I had twice because it was so good, I believe there were about 8 or 9 meat offerings. Different soups, grits, shrimp and tomato dish along with various cheese and breads, the variety has truly grown. Not all items were winners, in our opinion, but because of the selection I believe everyone could be quite satisfied.

We decide to make a trip to the buffet before ordering any of the menu brunch items that come straight from the kitchen. DH is eager for me to try one of the many cheeses he has on his plate and while in the process of putting a piece on my plate he knocks over his very full glass of mimosa all over me. I jump up....it's cold and I'm wearing a skirt. I am trying very casually to clean it up without making a scene but there is a lot of liquid spilled and my legs are covered in bits of orange juice, why couldn't it have been water! John and Laura were great and cleaned up everything while replacing all of our table setting items, all the while DH is turning every shade of red, he embarrasses very easily, which I find amusing. He apologizes profusely to everyone, while declaring it was all his fault and that he hasn't even had a drop of alcohol yet! John brings DH another mimosa and purposely puts it on the table very far from DH...lol.

    Some buffet samples;

    https:/…CC_buffet.jpg

    https:/…CC_crepe.jpg

So after sampling the buffet we order items off the menu, if I'm remembering correctly they are the same as last time or very close.

    https://s26.postimg.org/rncet5lop/CC_menu.jpg

We started with the poached eggs oscar with crab meat, the omelette with caramized onions and the French toast. The first 2 items were good but instead of the French toast we were brought the grilled wagyu beef hotdog. We hadn't planed on ordering it because.....well it's a hotdog, but since it was brought to us we decided to give it a try...well...it was a hotdog, nothing particularly special.

    https:/…CC_menu_items.jpg

The French toast was reordered by John along with the chicken and spinach crepes. These were both my favorites, DH didn't care for the crepe but he does prefer sweet over savory, I thought it was delicious. We finished with the mini cheeseburgers, these too were good, there was a great sear on the burgers and we both found them to be quite tasty.

    https:/…CC_french_toast.jpg

We finished our meal with a trip to the dessert station. DH had a raspberry and pineapple type of custard and I sampled the key lime tart and chocolate and caramel mousse, all were very delicious, just wish I had room to try a few others.

    https:/…CC_desserts.jpg

Our bill came to a total of $194 plus tip. We very much enjoyed our brunch and it was a nice treat for DH on father's day, we definitely had a leisurely 3 hour brunch. We will try some other places on future trips and hoping that the Country Club might put some new dishes on their brunch menu in the future.

Since we were at the Wynn we decided to play some slots. We didn't play the new Walking Dead last time mainly due to not finding a place where the machines were not next to each other, which is our preference. They were up and down for us with some horde bonuses, at the end they beat us. I was down $50 and DH was down $40 but we really enjoyed playing and will tackle them again on this trip. CW service started slow but by the time we left we each had consumed 3 delicious chocolate martinis and she had sent us on our way with a couple bottles of water.

DH was a bit tipsy and since my legs and shoes still had orange juice bits on them we decided to collect our luggage and head to NYNY. Since I had said we were arriving when I checked our luggage we had to wait a bit longer. I hadn't known they sent arriving guests luggage to another room in the hotel, lesson learned.

We grab a Lyft to the hotel. This guy was great. After we told him we were at the Park for a concert the night before, we found out that he works in the banquet area of the Monte Carlo and doing this part time until the banquet facilities are fully functioning again. He was telling us about the new additions, a cafe called Primrose that is a mix of Manhatten meets Paris and another restaurant which will be a Steakhouse with a famous chef, I believe he said was also based out of Manhatten. The info he was giving us was coming too fast for our martini induced brains to absorb, but he was very excited for all the changes. Our trip was $14.62.

The line for checking in was quite long and since our first night stay was comped we were able to go in the "invited guest" check-in line. Great lady named Keily was able to link our reservations and gave us a great king room, away from the elevators. She also let us know that showing our room key gives us a BOGO free roller coaster rides and BOGO free entrees at Il Fornaio, great perks. I booked during their buffet promo, which entitles 2 guests to breakfast or lunch buffet each day at either the MGM or Excalibur. I can't imagine eating at a buffet every day for dinner but using the deal for breakfast or afternoon snack should be fine, extra perk whether we use it or not.

Back to the room and DH passed out......or "napped" as he called it. Everything unpacked, quick shower and change and we were headed to the Colosseum to see Jerry Seinfeld tonight! We decided to grab a Lyft and made the mistake of requesting a ride without getting an estimate and it was surge pricing of 250%! Our ride ended up costing $20...yikes! Lesson learned.

We were seated in Orchestra 5, row E, seats 503 and 504, great seats. It's a row of 4 seats and the couple next to us, from Oklahoma, were great. We found out that they had also attended the Boston concert the night before. Seinfeld had an opening comedian from France and he was quite good. We thought it was a great performance by Jerry and yes there was a small bit that touched on his "no hug" to Kesha. This was after an audience member shouted "I love you Jerry", he responded with an "I love you too, wish I could hug you"...lol.

On our last trip GR Pub had a special beef wellington deal on and they had just run out before we got there. DH wanted to stroll by and see if there were any deals to be had this week. I was truly dragging because the thought of eating any more food today was daunting, I felt as if I had still just eaten. My dream was shattered when on the outside board was once again the beef wellington special...good grief. Again hopes were dashed when DH pointed out that today was the last day for the special. I spoke to the hostess who confirmed that yes the special was on and tonight was the last night. With a heavy heart we were seated. I told DH that I'd stick with an appy for my meal.

Our waiter arrived and we placed our order, he came back minutes later to tell us the last 3 wellingtons were just served. I kept my composure but inside I was so relieved, poor DH was visibly disappointed. DH decided that he was no longer very hungry so we made our apologies and left.

The taxi line was stupid busy so we walked over to the Bellagio and grabbed a cab, Lyft was still on surge pricing. Our ride back was under $10. Some slot playing but came out around even and headed to the room. DH decided he wanted a snack so he grabbed us a couple of slices of pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a root beer, total was $17 and we ate it in bed...gotta love Vegas!

Thanks Niteshade. We do tend to linger at places like this, it's such a great atmosphere with sitting outside overlooking the golf course and being away from all the noise and chaos for a few hours.

    June 19th - Day 3

Ah what a lovely sleep in, not having housekeeping try to enter your room while sleeping can have that result! We also seem to get the best sleep at NYNY, those black out drapes makes the room always feel like midnight even though it's almost noon.

We decided to head over to the MGM for the free brunch. We arrived just after twelve and there was a decent line but since we had MLife status we were able to go in the "invited guest" line, which was empty and then seated right away.

To be fair, the buffet has a large selection of food options, nothing was outstanding but I had no problem finding a few very good breakfast items. There was a chef cooking made to order eggs and omlettes. DH had his over easy eggs, bacon, toast and hashbrowns followed by 4 very large bowls of the different yogurts with fruit they had for offer. I went with the omlette, bacon and hashbrowns. We both had juice, coffee and tea, so at the price of $22 per person we thought it would be a fair price, since it was free for us it made it that much better.

DH spots a guy wearing a printed slogan on his T-shirt of what most people would perceive as a very distasteful or controversy statement. Now it could possibly be my vanity....yes it actually is....but my vision of far off items to read leaves something to be desired. As I strained to read the shirt I apparently must have made some sort of "dirty look" face. Not 2 minutes later a lady is tapping me on my shoulder and stated "by the way, we are leaving now so you don't have to send us anymore dirty looks at my child when she was crying"...pardon me! I tell her I have no idea what she is talking about, I then look at her baby and say "she's adorable, have yourself a wonderful day". She turns on her heels in a huff and leaves. I turn to DH and before I can say a word, he says "told you that you need glasses, you're going to start a riot with that look"!

DH had ordered some items from Amazon that arrived today at the Paradise Amazon pick up boxes, so we headed out. I had no idea how hot it was, I think it hit 110 today! We were walking and got as far as Ellis Island and I was dragging. DH suggested I stop and play at EI and he'll continue on his own. I once again suggested getting a Lyft but he said he wanted to walk off his breakfast this morning, alright go for it.

I played some Plant vs Zombies, hit some decent wins but couldn't get that brain bonus. Moved over to the Britney machines and she took everything back. I hit 2 toxic bonuses but they didn't pay well. DH has since returned and made a few comments about how hot it was, definitely not comments I can post online and followed it with, maybe we should have grabbed a Lyft! Gee you think.

We decided to continue our gambling at Paris. This is just not our week for luck. Tried the Walking Dead machines again and they took our money in record time. Played some of the older machines and actually made back some of our losses. We did receive great CW service and those strawberry daquiris were delicious. We seem to have favorite drinks at the different casinos and by far Paris makes the best daquiris in our opinion.

We leave Paris down a few bucks and it's after 8 so decide it's time to eat, my how time flies when gambling. DH loves his Bubba Gumps and has it at least once, but usually twice per visit. On our last visit we found out that they had taken his favorite food item off the menu, the Cajun shrimp appetizer with garlic bread. It had been quite a scene on our last visit when he found out it was removed, but to be fair he was quite "tipsy", but the waitress was able to have the cooks still make it. Fingers crossed for this visit.

The place is busy but no line so we were seated quickly. I asked our waitress if the Cajun shrimp dish can still be ordered, she checked with her manager and came back and said it could. DH was grinning from ear to ear. We ordered 2 along with Bubba's Far Out Dip. Unfortunately, when the shrimp dish came, it was more of a garlic shrimp there was no heat or Cajun spices. When the waitress returned I relayed this to her and told her that I truly appreciated the effort of the kitchen preparing an "off menu item" but it's quite bland. She came back a few minutes later and said they are remaking them, this time when they came out they were perfect, DH was so happy.

Our oldest daughter had sent DH an electronic gift card for father's day to Bubba Gumps so it was a free dinner for us, the total was $38 plus tip. The waitress told us there are a few "off menu" items that are frequently ordered. Totally stuffed and satisfied we head back to NYNY.

Unfortunately no great wins but also no great losses. We again had great CW service and finished the evening about flush.

Thanks everyone, we are having a fantastic trip. We hit 116 degrees today!

Yes the Lyft price was a shock, who would have thought a cab ride might be cheaper!

Brunch was lovely, it was our 2nd time at the Country Club. DH is still apologetic, it's just another memory!

Hoping the photos are working, I'll have to learn how to post directly on here.

Thanks Grandma, glad the photos are turning out ok.

Please mum - DH is a great sport and he should have known I was up to something...lol. He did think they were coming to Vancouver, we have had some great bands up our way over the last couple of years.

Jloeee - thanks, being on vacation is always great in Vegas, even when we don't hit the BIG WIN! With that being said, I have read some TR'S where you can tell people are not having a great time.

    June 20th - Day 4

Out of the room by noon, it's a vacation miracle!

DH still wanted breakfast, so back to MGM buffet we go. There was a longer line today, at least 50 plus people. Once again not a single person in the MLIFE line so we were able to walk right up, this also gives you a "line pass", so we were also seated before all the people that had paid and we're waiting to be seated....great perk.

Most of the items were the same as yesterday with a few changes. Today they had corned beef hash, this is always one of my favorite breakfast items and rare to come by back home. The line up for the egg/omlette station was packed so we skipped it. We said we would go lighter today because we wanted a nice dinner tonight, so we had a basic breakfast meal followed by salad and fruit.

We were just about to leave MGM when DH spotted the Dumb and Dumber slot machine, our first time seeing it. I hit a small bonus where Jim Carrey's fist comes right at you, I jumped quite visibly and DH had a great time mocking me for the next few hours. No great bonus wins but we were each up when we left, zero CW service though.

We started off walking to the Linq area, where once again DH has had some Amazon packages sent...my god he shops more than me! We cut through Paris/Bally's and I spot electronic roulette while DH went to the restroom. I sit for a minute to check it out and am asked if I wanted a cocktail, I ordered a pina coloda and decided to slip a few bucks in the machine. DH came back and joined me and we had fantastic CW service from Nicole. After 4 drinks each we knew we needed to move along, plus we were both up.

After picking up the packages I suggested that we should just cross the street and grab a Lyft back to NYNY from Caesars, it was stupid hot, somebody threw out the number of 118 degrees!

Our Lyft driver was Prince and he came within a minute. I go to open the back door and there is a young girl there with a stack of cigarettes in one hand and a drink in the other. Prince gets out of the car and comes around to where we are standing and realizes there is a mix up when I refer to him by name, he then confirms mine and that we requested a Lyft to NYNY. He turns to the girl and tells her that she needs to get out of the car, she won't budge. He said that she lied to him when he confirmed her name, what are the chances there are 2 Amanda's waiting for a Lyft! She seemed quite out of it and when she realized he wasn't budging she begrudgingly got out of his car. He later told us that she was a "working girl" and wanted to get to the next hotel. Anyway, Prince was great and our ride was $7.11.

We stopped at the MLIFE desk to load $50 of free play onto DH's card, we are told it will stay on the card for 72 hours before it expires, excellent.

I had purchased 2 VIP tickets to the Laugh Factory at Tropicana on Groupon for $30. I thought that since we were staying at NYNY it would be a break one night if our gambling was on a downward swing or we just wanted a break. We decided to head over and book seats for the 10:30 show, the lady at the box office mentioned there were available seats for the 8:30 show which was starting in less than 10 minutes so since we were there already, why not.

The show was good, not great but good. The main 2 comedians had some great material but unfortunately the host was tough to watch, there was lots of dead air after each joke. We had been here once, years before, but I thought it was better and longer last time. The show only lasted an hour for all 3 comedians, I would have been disappointed paying full price but at $15 a person it was a great hour distraction.

We head back to NYNY to do some slotting. We start with the Jurassic Park machines, I really like these machines but they don't feel the same about me. We are both losing money quickly so we pull the plug and head over to the double seater for Willie Wonka, again no luck. I don't remember a trip being this rough on us. Then the separate Wonka machines were free and we decided to give them a try. Within a few minutes I got the Golden egg bonus which gave me 11 eggs, most I have seen. The bonus brought me up almost flush, now this is better! Then I hit this....

    https://s26.postimg.org/6h5c0905l/Wonka.jpg

I was super excited thinking it was the motherload of jackpots, with a full screen of Wonkas I was sure the payout would be higher than a 40 times payout. I just couldn't get back into my love for this machine after that so we moved over to the Flintstones. I had almost a screen of Teds on a prior trip they had paid so much better...

And DH had a good hit on Wonkas, thought mine was better but he was paid more...

We moved on to he Flintstones and they did not disappoint, I was getting yabba dabba do bonuses all over the place. I more than recouped my losses so far and was back in the black. CW service ay NYNY was awesome the entire night, no matter what section we were playing.

It was time for dinner...a very late dinner. We head to America for our midnight steak dinner, one meal DH requests every trip. I think it's more about tradition than anything else. We walk over and it's closed, they are doing some work on the bar area and there is a big mess everywhere. It's late and I don't feel like venturing out onto the strip so we go up the escalator to grab some pizza slices at NYP. We share a slice along with a stromboli, garlic knots and a root beer, totalling $25. Another great night in Vegas...recouped prior days losses and pizza in bed!

Tomorrow night we have reservations at Rao's.

I guess we'll let you join...
You're the 2nd person here this month that got a screen full of Wonka's for 40X on "pure imagination". When I saw it in the last TR I was surprised as well.

Nice TR! Good luck the rest of the way!

Thank for following along and the nice responses.

I have to admit I was quite choked by the payout. I know I should appreciate the win but it was surprising.

I'm hoping for the Mega win too! I've been playing more max bets this trip but can't get a hit until I lower my bets, I just need better timing.

    June 21st - Day 5

Out of the room a bit earlier today so we could grab a quick breakfast at Excalibur buffet before it stops at 11. Also didn't want to eat too late because of 7 pm dinner reservations tonight.

Really long line up this morning, but as with MGM nobody in the VIP MLife line. We paid and were in quickly. Two breakfast buffets were $41.11 and included in our stay at NYNY.

The organization of this buffet leaves a lot to be desired, one huge lineup wraps up the whole buffet. People were holding up the line waiting for dishes to be refilled, I found it very exasperating. There was a cook making omlettes and eggs to order so I waited in this line and DH went to grab us a few breakfast items to share. I was done with our orders and he had barely moved because of people waiting for eggs benedict!

We finally leap frogged over a few people that were taking forever to decide and he grabbed some bacon, sausage and corned beef hash. The quality at MGM was far superior in every way, right from the coffee and juice to the hash and sausages. My omlette was very good but other than that all items were a pass. I sampled a few bite size portions of their lunch offerings but again they were pretty plain and blah. If DH is in the mood for breakfast tomorrow we will head back to MGM. I don't think the Excalibur is even close to the MGM buffet, in terms of food quality, variety and service. We felt as if we were sheep being herded. Hard to believe the cost difference is only $3 per person.

We walk around the new Park area checking out the new restaurants and art pieces.

The place is crawling with security and cops and some ESPN stations were set up because of the NHL draft pick. It's time to head onto the strip to do our usual M&M and Coca Cola shopping for our girls. Also, DH does love Ross on the strip, can't get the man to clothes shop at home, but watch out in Vegas.

So we leave the Ross store with 2 huge bags of clothes and head to the Coca Cola store. I thought it would be a nice treat to order the ice cream float sampler along with our usual bottle of coke. We've tried the "around the world" sampler before and it is very unique, almost every table was trying it here today. The float sampler was very good with your usual suspect of flavours. Cost of the sampler was only $9.50 and worth it.

Time to head back to NYNY and get ready for our 7 pm reservation at Rao's. We decide to Lyft it to Caesars. Unfortunately, with the NHL Draft pick happening at T mobile our driver is having a hard time coming into NYNY. The app would do the countdown, 4 minutes, 3, 2 and then back up to 4. We waited over 15 minutes before he finally arrived, he was very apologetic. Our Lyft ride was $7.83. He also told us that during EDC, rides from Motor Speedway to the strip one way were at 550% surge pricing and that the average cost was $240 each way, I would hate to receive their credit card statements next month . He said that people would get in the cab and pass out until he dropped them off at the hotel.

We arrive at Rao's and there is a bit of a wait, no big deal and we were seated by 7:30. We ordered a half bottle of an Italian wine which we bought thought was quite good and both opted for the restaurant week menu. Tables are quite close so you see what others are ordering, we didn't see anyone else order off of the Restaurant week menu. Here in Vancouver and in Puerto Vallarta it always gets much support and success.

They start you off with a huge bread basket with various breads and crisps, even after we each did some generous sampling it looked as if it hadn't even been touched. This is served with 3 types of butter and all were delicious. For starters I had the fried ravioli and DH the tomato bisque. I thought the ravioli was quite good but the bisque had a real sourness to it which was a bit off putting. Our mains consisted of the meat lasagna which was really good and I had the Chicken Milanese, this dish was less than average. The chicken was extremely dried out and even though the salad is described as "lightly dressed" I still would have expected more flavour, I left most of it behind. For dessert DH had the Raspberry sorbet and I had the Salted Carmel Budino....wow these were both over the top delicious. I should have skipped my main meal and had 2 desserts. Our total bill was $140 plus tip. Our server, Oscar, was exceptional.

At some point we may try eating here again, but with so many great restaurants to still try it is further down our list. Others have raved so maybe it was because of the dishes we picked or because they were so busy or even because we eat a lot of Italian dishes and have much to compare this visit to.

We head across to the Linq area where we pick up DH's final amazon package and decide to walk back. I am missing our usual daily walks up and down the strip, but this heat is a killer this week during the day time. We cross over to Cosmo and find 2 empty Ted machines. We play for a few hours while enjoying a continuous parade of Raspberry Lemon drop martinis. At the end we are both up, no picture worthy bonuses just some smaller "kick a*$" bonuses and decide to end the night on a positive note.
