I arrive on non-stop @ 9AM tomorrow - definitely looking forward to all of the new machines on their slot floor since October :)

I am here already. Changed flight to yesterday since we were getting snow storm. Good thing too as flight was canceled. But since I changed before advisory, they won’t refund difference so I have to win this thing now.

Smart move to head out early. Only rain here. Even though you're already there I'm still bringing the extra bag to hold all of the money that I'm going to win

...And made it back home. Ended up winning $100 and $400, so I got my buy in back. But $500 in Freeplay lasted all of about 10 minutes.

The top, 2 highest round combined scores on day 1 was ~42000ish and on day 2 was ~34000ish. The lowest score each day was dropped. The Aria tournament machines either like ya or hate ya. There is no wild. So if you're not hitting 3 blue Aria symbols for 1500 points then you're pretty much just getting combinations of bars which only adds 120 points or less to your score (and therefore you're loosing). The machine has a 3 white Aria symbols combo that rarely hit. All in all it was fun. The food was great especially on day 2. Day 1 was beef, mashed potatoes, and sides. Day 2 was pork chop on the bone, Mexican rice, beans, and a cream corn plus sides.

Any luck on the slots besides the tournament ones? Sounded like a fun tourney wish I could have made it

I managed to get $500 in free play so I got my buy-in back. One of my slot buds did the same. She also managed to get 3 handpays on Lock-it-Link over the 4 days. She got the Major 3 times. Amazing luck. I am still chasing my first one - did manage to have a long lucrative session on Wonder 4 Tower - buffalo - with lots of hits in the 500-700 range - the best kind - no Call Attendant lights.

I forgot to add that on Day 2 I had the same machine for both the 2nd and the 3rd spin. I could have changed them during sign-in but opted to keep them. I should have switched them up. I got so many 2 blues (out of 3) during the second spin that I counted them. I had 24 in that spin followed by 32 in the third spin. That is 56 times that I was not able to match up all 3 - I would have won day 2 if I had converted only half of them.

A great time was had nonetheless :) :)
