    Smoking has been banned in most poker rooms for well over a decade now. Just need the rest of the casino to follow suit now if you ask me. ;)



    She's the best female player poker player ever in terms of performance, imo. But yeah, her attitude is worse than cocky male players. Words that begin with B and C come to mind.

    Good luck @Righty, I'd love to hear you knocking out Vanessa!

    Today was a struggle. Scraped through, though, and bagged about $30k. Had a few very unlucky spots, so actually happy with the result. Saving my rungood for Days 2-10!

    Day 2 is Friday, so planning to grab a cabana tomorrow with some friends and veg out a bit.

    I love how she decided to make a squeeze play and when she faced resistance, she kept going instead of giving up and it blew up in her face. I remember her making a move with 5 high early in her poker career on an ESPN table and had a similar result. :)

    Fitting end really. Out on a Jack high. Not the first time she's done that and probably won't be the last.

    Her bad play, and resulting fit, after being eliminated with J7 a few years back in a tournament is legendary.

    Just busted out of Day 2. Had it up to 55k and lost a big one with KJss. I opened, cutoff and button called. 2 spade flop. I bet, button called. Spade turn, I checked, button bet 5k (with 20 behind) and I shoved. He had A9ss.

    Lost the last 10k shortly after with AQ vs 88, all in pre. Next year I guess!

    Yeah, and she had 150bbs or so. Crazy.

    That strategy worked years ago, but always have to be conscious of image.

    Yeah, there are few times in poker where folding kk preflop makes sense, but Labat was in the exact spot to do so. Even though he under-repped his hand by flatting, it’s too many chips to risk even if he’s up against an AK and QQ/JJ. High likelihood of AA too.

    Side note. My good buddy’s friend has 20% of Tony Miles!! Nice score coming.
