It’s a tough one. I really did miss the strip. I might see if my host can take care of me at the Palms and try there and their new suites/villas. That way I can easily get to the strip with a 5 minute drive, not a hike. Overall, they really did take care of me here, I have no complaints, it just doesn’t feel like a Vegas trip without my traditional walk through random casinos.

I’m such a degenerate, I had to play a little more.

One notable hand, $1700 x 2, 10 on each spot, double to $3400 into a dealer 7. Pull an ace and a 10 for the win. My heart was racing on this one. Guy next to me had 2 large bets for him (500ish) and was forced to split 7s a bunch of times and was not happy about it. I managed to snap a photo after they paid me.

That makes sense. Seems like a lot of people on here tend to use RR for family trips since there's something for everyone.

Glad your final hit and run was successful!

All good trips must come to an end. Headed to the airport in a few hours, but first, will have my limo stop at In N Out for an early lunch. For a NYer like myself, there is absolutely nothing like it. I know a lot of you like Shake Shack, but having worked across the street from the original in Madison Square Park for many years, it just doesn’t do it for me.

I took a few more suite pics to try to give a sense of the incredible marble throughout the suite, it’s covered in it, and supposedly was hand picked by the Fertittas. I don’t doubt it, they seem to really focus on details, just look at the hand painted outlet cover in the bathroom to match the tiles. There’s a picture of the pool area, that just shows the ice rink they setup for a winter event.

Appreciate everybody that took this ride with me and hope you enjoyed following along. Would I come back to RR? The question is do I want to be a big fish in a little pond or a small fish in a big pond. This place has its positives and negatives. I’m actually debating the Palms following their renovation, but don’t think I’m eligible for one of their new villas, so it would depend on the room. I’d love the room with the basketball court or bowling alley, but I just don’t play to that level. Maybe I go back to Aria, maybe here, guess it depends who I’m coming with. Until next time Vegas.

Butler’s pantry with a stocked fridge (there were a few more under the bar). For some reason, they kept failing at replacing the Naked OJ I wanted.
