Looks like Cosmo is the latest casino to install triple zero roulette. For those that may not know what this means....it increases the house edge to 7.69% versus double zero roulette 5.26%. It’s pretty much a slot machine now. As this house advantage is roughly equal to what a $1 denomination slot holds.

I got this info via the Five Hundy podcast Facebook page.

They've got single zero too, so do they cancel each other out?

    Yes.

The house edges on wheels are 1/37, 2/38, or 3/39 based on the number of zeros on the wheel.

No changes in payouts which is what effects the house edge.

According to the post in the Five Hundy group there was a $15 triple zero and a $25 double across from the HL room but a $15 double zero near The Henry.

Wow. I was hoping that meant they would offer it at $10. I can go to Cromwell and play single zero for $25. Cosmo definitely caters to the bigger players on table games. Love them for slots still though.

MGM Grand and Mirage have single zero with the "en prison" rule on their regular floor. While it starts at a $25 min, they can often go up to a $100.

because the same people who think that 6:5 blackjack pays more than 3:2 blackjack because "the numbers are higher" won't understand that they are getting screwed with another number on the roulette wheel.
