May 2019 Roll Call

10 nights?!?!?

We will be in Vegas May 3-7 for my sister-in-law's 40th birthday celebration. Staying at Aria Sky Suites. I am in charge of planning everything. Will be a combination of pool parties, great meals, a show and maybe a club or two. The last day will be a spa recovery day.

 

Yeah! I'm lonely in the April one

 

Congrats Steph! I just booked our trip for May 17-25th. I also called the Cosmo to get my current offer (which ended on May 15th) extended to cover entire trip. I have always had great service at the Cosmo, which is why we made the switch over from MLife.

 

Can’t think of a better way to spend a birthday so congrats to you especially for getting Cosmo booked. 10 days I could never handle in Vegas (got massacred on my longest trip of eight days) but your just a baby so I know you will have a blast!

 

May 30th - June 2nd (Cosmo)
without the teens this trip.

 

Arriving May 25th - May 31st for USBC National Bowling tournament at South Point. Staying right across the street at Grandview Resort since a guy in our group has a timeshare there. This will be my 7th bowling trip to Vegas and 3rd staying at Grandview. Also bowling a tournament at Gold Coast during the week. We will also be on Fremont St at least 1 evening for schenanigans. Going to try my hand at some craps probably downtown for the first time, will probably get into a couple of poker tournaments at SouthPoint and hoping to get over to M Resort for their buffet sometime too!

 

April 28 - May 2 at Cromwell

 

In town May 21-June 1. Staying at Cosmo the first two nights and Park MGM the final three. Mrs. LV and I are giving the kids 3 nights at Bellagio fountain view. We will be visiting family so it’ll resemble a quasi family reunion. Not sure of a budget yet for gambling as I’m just returning to work from my first surgery ever.
We still enjoy music, dancing, gambling good food and everything else Vegas...not necessarily in that order. See you there.

 

Mrs PTD and I will be there 5/12-5/17. Not 100% sure of where we're staying yet. A lot of our offers seem to end in March or April. Might have to try calling in but assumed they would refresh soon enough.

 

May 23-28 (Thurs-Tues) for my wife and I, and we're letting a mutual female acquaintance tag along as long as we can get her free rooms too. Flights are purchased - SWOOP out of Hamilton round trip non-stop to Vegas, including bags at $570 CDN taxes-in total for my wife and I. We are using 4 nights at Cosmo for us (Thurs-Mon), plus the last night TBD (probably Harrah's). My wife has a Wynn offer of 3 nights so the freeloader will get that Sun-Tues (technically Wed). I have 3 nights free at Bally's from a CET offer, my wife has some MyVegas room options, or I might get to Cosmo gold before the trip by pre-purchasing at the spa and use a couple companion nights - it won't be a problem for the freeloader

Looks like from the few folks already confirmed in May we'll have a bit of overlap - hopefully we'll cross paths with a few fellow VFers!

 

Just like that we've got it figured out. Staying all five nights at Cosmo. We'll have to switch rooms after two nights but better than having to switch properties!

 

Hey I'll also be in town at south point for nationals over memorial day! Are you guys doing 40-frame too?

 

May 10th - 16th @ Bellagio

 

Yeah for sure we will be rolling the 40frame game on Memorial Day early, then come back and bowl the Bowlers Journal later on that evening. Then team event Tuesday at 11am and Doubles/Singles on Wednesday at 7am.

 

May 17-25 for EDC. Will be staying at the Cosmo for the entire trip

 

May 16-20 at Aria for my big 5-0

I need to find something unique and weird to do out there since it's a milestone birthday, but man after twenty years of trips, I'm running out of ideas.
