I believe that's the one based on earning points in the high limit room. Can't find the thread where I read that though. Bummed it's only for two weeks, would have loved to try that for our trip in May.

 

That promo was for the last few weeks of March.

Actually I have seen a promo for the last 2 weeks in April as well and I believe it's based on points you earn during your stay. Something about for every 5K points you earn you get a shot to win some free play at the identity desk. Not sure if I read it right, but it said it's open to all slot players.

 

Floor wide promotion open to all Identity Members. Players earn 5,000 Identity Slot Points and get a chance to swipe their card at the “Spring into Winnings” Kiosks for a chance to match their winning combination and win Identity Play.

I just did this, 4 times actually. Pretty easy. Earn 5,000 points on the machines and swipe at the kiosks near the players club desk. If you are at least Sterling, your 2X points counts towards goal! So you can play more often. For me, it was $6,250 coin in to swipe ($1.25 per point at Sterling with 5000 points)

Pretty much free money for doing what I would be doing anyway. You pick cards for butterflys. The more butterflys, the more in free play. Less then 50 of them, you win $10. 50 to something was $25. It went up from there. i think 100 of them was $1K

I won $25 twice and $10 twice. Pretty easy promo to follow and do.

My main feedback is the redemption really should be fully automated. You play at the kiosk, which is more like a 50" touchscreen TV on it's side, but it prints out a receipt which has to redeemed at the desk to get the actual Identity Play on your card. Because of this, the kiosk is closed at night. Unfortunately this kinda screws over people who have an early flight that departs before the desk opens in the morning, so you can't redeem points earned for the entire last night.

Also, from a privacy perspective, it would be nice if the kiosk didn't display "Welcome FIRST LAST name" in big letters. I know my name and don't need people standing behind me to know my name.

 

100% with you on it should be automated! I know you can print and keep all of your slips, then get them all loaded at once within 24 hours. But I liked earning my trigger, and being able to redeem. It was a game to me. I just hated having to jump back in line to do so. For $25, the line wasn't that bad. For $10, I felt like throwing that ticket on the grown and not wasting my time.

 

Good call out on the full name being displayed, I will have that changed for the next one to increase privacy.

As for full automation (having the winnings loaded to your account from the kiosk), we of course want that as well but there is an extra regulatory hurdle required to be able to “write” directly to a gaming system.
And the company that provides the kiosks does not have that approval from NGCB. We hope they will get it in the future, but I don’t know when that will be (next kiosk promo will be in September).
