    So, the gambling continued on form last night. Lost my whole bankroll. Today is our French Qauter day. Hurricane at Pat O'Briens and walking around. Plane leaves at 8:20. Ready to put this casino in my rear view mirror, but not this town.

    Have had fun despite getting the shit kicked out of me gambling.

    Well, we made it home pretty late last night. Flight was delayed due to Weather in Nashville. Finally did get home though and went straight to bed. Getting around slowly today, gotta go get the dogs at Noon. Then a ton of laundry and we have to go to the store.

    Gambling never did turn around. Lost my entire bankroll for the trip, first time in a long time that's happened. Good old CET.

    I'll do a full wrap tomorrow. But I will say this: the slots at Harrah's were tight. Probably very close, or at, the Louisiana state minimum of 80%.

    As we all know the gambling will suck from time to time. Sorry to hear it didn’t come around for you on this trip. Sounds to me like you still had a good time and ate some really good food. Better luck in Vegas!!

    Yeah, but state law only cares about the long run. And remember Nevada's minimum is 75%...

    A BAD trip on slots is definitely sub 80% everywhere, even sub 70% sometimes. But CET is definitely tight generally. And might get even tighter with the merger...

    Ugh, sorry you couldn't get anything good going.

    I’m glad you loved NOLA. My daughter was a nurse there for a few years, so I visited often. But, I haven’t been back but once since she moved. I miss it. ( I also did poorly at the casino.)
    I know people might say it’s variance, but the ONE time I stayed at a CET property in Vegas, it was my worst trip for gambling. Not willing to try again.
    I know it was hot!

    Sorry for your loss Nick, But glad that you enjoyed the city and the food. Hopefully you will win it all back in you next Vegas trip, CET is getting pretty tight, that's why we are trying to switch, getting some offers from MLife casinos and Wynn, don't know which one to switch to yet.

    This trip was actually my official goodbye to CET AND MGM. On future Vegas trips we will not be staying, or gaming, at resorts under the umbrella of those two.Nor will we visit any more of their satellite properties.

    I just called for a reservation at Wynn for our second offer, 3 comp nites with $300 free play and 2 buffets for each night, they upgraded us to high floor panoramas view this time, but I doubt that we will keep getting this kind of offer unless we give them as much play as we did to CET. We will see what kind of luck we will have on our next trip. Which casino are you switching to?
