This will be my mantra. I see hand pays to the left to me... hand pays to the right of me.. usually followed by a feeling of dread and negativity when in Vegas as I'm dealt another crap hand. Enough with this negative thought! This time - I'm coming home a winner.. even if i have to roll someone at LAS before boarding my plane home on Sunday. In 48 hours I will be riding the turbo bumby express out of Seattle and into a Red Flag warning in beautiful Las Vegas. I don't know what a Red Flag warning is (even after reading the narrative on weather.com) but it sounds... red. and flaggy. Also 30-40MPH wind gusts make me think I'll be landing somewhere 20 miles East of the runway. This trip is special in lots of ways. For one, I don't get to go very often anymore having a 4 and 2 year old at home. For two , it's a "boys trip" with guys I grew up with on the East coast meeting me out there/down there. My buddy J is turning 50 and it seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to finagle a trip. And for three, it seems like @Wanker751 may need some help with Cosmo drink tickets around this same time and who am I to not help a guy out. I'm looking forward to doing my best to keep the threads rolling with some live updates, pictures of massive wins (which for me is anything over 100 bucks given I apparently need to send my children to school at some point) and anything else that suits my fancy.. or anyone else's fancy. Maybe some fancy pants... show porn? and lots of "Dave's" on short-pay VP. These next two days are going to drag.. but hopefully the belly of the plane won't when landing Thursday morning. So please buckle up.. put your tray tables in their full upright position.. and pray to the gambling gods for an entertaining and wild ride.
