Has anyone tested this, at least for VP where the theo is known.?
I’ve played VP there, and I seem to remember the coin in per point being a bit higher than what I would expect for the game I was playing.

For a simple game like Double Diamond, it’s not all that hard to estimate the weights for each wheel position and then use that to get a rough estimate of the hold. You just need to record the results of several thousand hands.
That won’t get you the exact hold, but it should be close enough to say whether the hold is closer to the 12.5% implied by the points, or to the 8(?)% you might have expected.

Of course at $5 or $10 a spin, that gets pretty expensive.

It's been years for me, but when I shoved my gf's card in the machine into a bartop, it looked like the "average theo of all the games" is what earned points. So if you played the best game possible on that unit, you would benefit by a better point rate.

I had a situation just happen with my identity points and hope that someone can help so that it doesn't happen again.

I was at Cosmo Halloween weekend and checked my status online before going to the Identity desk to see how long my points were good as I was hoping to hit platinum. Two ladies were behind the desk and when they looked up my account said I was less than 8000 points away. I told them I would be back November 27th and 28th and they told me to check before I checked out in case I was close enough to buy a gift card to make up the difference before end of November.

I wrote to my host to change my reservation to my recent offer and explained what I was going to do buying the gift card to make up the difference and she wrote back saying between day before yesterday and yesterday 7954 points had dropped off. Really disappointed that I should have bought the gift card previously due to information at the identity desk.

How can I find out ahead of time when points will drop off in the future??

Maybe they dropped for being over a year old? You can see when and how your points were earned on the website, don’t know if that would show you anything

Ahhh they may have been a year old as my first visit to Cosmo was Thanksgiving last year. Shame I was told I had until the 30th of the month.

Ugh, I hate when employees get key points wrong.

Cosmo works on a rolling 365-day system.

I think the Identity Desk should be able to tell you what date points are scheduled to drop off.

As @tringlomane said, they use a 365-day rolling period, so if you have access to your play stats between Halloween and Thanksgiving of last year (or can estimate), you should be able to reconcile it.

When MLife used to be on the rolling schedule for Tier Credits, I'm pretty sure it was actually more like a 13-month situation. So if you had some that were scheduled to drop on July 15, they wouldn't actually drop off until August 1st.

I kind of thought Cosmo worked the same way, because my anniversary date is July 30 and I've never been there later than the 20th or so. But I think that's due to an adjustment that got posted on July 30 the year I reached Gold.

ETA: and now it shows as July 29, 2020, which would be because 2020 is a leap year. So looks like they are precisely on a 365-day schedule.

That's a real shame because I was ready to buy a gift card if needed and use it over the next year since I spend a few hundred each visit anyway. Just frustrating that the two ladies at the desk, (although really sweet) gave me the incorrect information.

I was playing high card flush on Sunday at Cosmo. The pit boss was informing dealers how points were earned mentioned gift cards as well as that table games did not earn points. Seems they are educating peolle
