Here is another one of our earlier games called Bonus Discard Poker. It is a pretty straight forward game. The player is dealt a hand and they choose the cards they want to hold (send to the main hand) and the remaining cards make up the discard hand. Cards are drawn into the hand to complete the main hand and the discard hand. Wins in the main hand are multiplied by winning hands in the discard hand (the discard hand uses the best 3 out of 5 cards).

Give it a try and let me know your thoughts.

*You can also click on the bottom of the pay scale to see the multipliers for the discard hand.

Is a pair in the discard hand pay supposed to pay the same as garbage in the discard hand?

The paytable listing makes it look like you need a pair to get paid at 1X, but it pays at 1X even without a pair,

@ctheworld yes, in order to make the programming of this game more efficient, we used the pair as a x1 multiplier. We didn’t want to use “zero” since the code would then multiple wins in the primary hands by zero and the player wouldn’t get credit for the primary wins since any win times zero would result in a zero.

@Wanker751 click on the “I” button in the upper left hand corner for the game math. This version of the game has a RTP at 98.46%.

I get that. My point was that even a garbage hand has a 1X multiplier, same as the pair, and that is not apparent from the multiplier paybtable.

I get what you’re saying now @ctheworld. We probably should have shown that in the pay table.

Agree, the lowest multiplier in the discard paytable should be "high card or one pair".
