I didn't even have enough coins to take advantage of the EM glitch until the last full day it was up, but managed to pick up around 10B and I've been slowly sliding downhill since, but not without picking up more than 10k gems along the way. That said, the last week or so has been about even for me.

I do switch the bet occasionally, but didn't this time cause my credits were dwindling so fast. Plus, I never thought it would actually hit!

I couldn't take advantage of the glitch because I didn't read about it until it was already over. I'm still a bit peeved about that!

Ugh. It was juicy enough that it was worth buying chips. And you'd get more VIP points!

Yeah I posted it here with a link to VMB explaining it with about 17 hours to go here, but deleted it once it was over. :(

I did the EM glitch to about 12B but it got pulled when I was on the last trainstop on the map bonus thingy!

I have subsequently topped out my gems... and lost all 12B.

    Idiot.

If you topped them all out for 12B, that's not bad! I mostly just grind and get scratchers.

Questions about EM - which bonus is better - the free games or the respins?

Second - it says 1-100 respins - how is that possible? If you get a ball every third spin, that's 45 spins max.

1 to 100 represents the values that can appear on the orbs. 1x to 100x bet. I was confused by that too until i played the bonus a few times.

I tended to think the spins were better, but they are more swingy.

Ah okay, that makes sense. I notice as you progress through the map you see '2 to 100' and '3 to 100'. I guess that sweetens the pot a bit.

Anybody won the free buffet without actually buying chips. I am in for $29 now LMAO and have 203 of 1.2k gems and 105MM in coins. At this rate I'll have to play 100,000 bets 15 hours a day to get enough gems for a buffet on my next trip.....or buy more and bet higher and spend more than the buffet costs anyway. :D

I got up to 13000 gems before spending any real money. spent $49.99 to get to level 2, and just booked 4 comp nights. so that comes to $12.50 out of pocket per night at a Forbes 5-Star property. Not bad.

How did you manage to get so many gems without buying coins, I have been getting very few gems, earning it very slowly betting mainly 100k on most games, even betting 61.8 millions on hyper bonus only earned 3 gems. I would lose very fast if I bet even 320k. I have hard time even earning one buffet, it was easier just a couple of months ago.

Well I fell in to the WynnSlots trap and bought the piggy bank and after hours of mindlessly pressing spin and auto spins I figured I have enough time and a few bucks invested to try the buffet tonight. Wish me luck. Lol lol

The Wynn buffet is by far much better than the Bellagio. Definitely worth my piggybank buy. Lol lol

I agree, Bellagio used to be the best buffet in Vegas long time ago, I went there on my last trip, it was pretty bad, I would rather go to M Casino's Studio B which is much better and at more reasonable price, but my favorite is still Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace.

I cannot believe the big F U they gave everyone this morning by lowering the number of VIP points/crowns earned for events and your daily bonuses! They really must be trying to keep people from being able to redeem anything!. Worked for me! I’m at 2402 gems with 17 days til reset- wouldn’t have been an issue to get to 2500 by then but now it’s impossible. So glad I’ve been wasting so much time on this app over the last year.

This seems to be a trend for all slot apps by casinos.

They roll them out with very easy to attain free rooms etc. initially in an effort to get buy in. They sacrifice revenues for a bit hoping to get some brand loyalty. Then. after a period of time, they make it more restrictive, harder to get comps and continue adjusting down until they hit whatever their real target numbers for the app were to begin with.

For a resort like Wynn people dropping off and no longer staying is probably A-OK with them because that's not their core market anyway. (Full Disclosure: I've never stayed at Wynn or Encore and am not much of a player in their casinos.)

So that's what the recent updates were about.

My view on this is that the screws will continue to tighten on the game. I expect we (QQ and I) will be able to get two more rounds of rooms out of it and that may be the end.

They will make it so that only the players that are profitable to them remain, for the most part.

The key now is to do some careful figuring on how much you are willing to spend to get the VIP points needed to book at such time as you have enough gems.

Right now, it's still a great deal if you have been playing a while. If you were just starting up with the app now, I don't know how much value there would be and how difficult it would be to get to VIP 2.

They also updated the level to 3 to be able to book a room. So now it's basically a $200 buy in to have the ability to book a room, plus all the time required to play the game and earn the gems. As Nick stated, this will weed out their non core market....although I sort of have to think that folks who play apps to obtain free rooms probably aren't their core market anyway? I have to admit, we likely would never have stayed at the Wynn without the (almost) freebie 4 nights we got over Thanksgiving, and now that the carrot is removed, we likely won't again. Ok by me, and I'm sure ok by them - I can't afford $100 craps tables...:oops:o_O
