    You said a mouthful, 44inarow.

    Absolutely right.

And at a micro level, I can't tell you how many times dealers have 'helped' me out more than what I was tipping. Tip your dealer, and keep an eye out. Some are very helpful. And by helpful, I mean 'helpful'.

Whenever you use a 3rd party company, they are getting a piece of the action.

I always say look around at who's pimping these companies. If it's a person with a side interest, say for example a message board about Vegas where
the owner, promotes things like free play or cruises, then you should evaluate with a level of scrutiny. Your fellow players are your best source of
real information, open sharing about comps received and play put in, helps the gambling community ferret out bad operators and distinguish if your being
    treated equitably.

Anyone else get calls from them? I plugged in my info in 2017 when my offers were much lower than they are now, and I have never updated them. I was looking to see what the offers would be, but nothing was close to what I wanted. So I haven't bothered with it.
They called me 2 days ago, I didn't answer of course, I didn't know the number. Then they texted that they have cruise offers. They used my name, so I don't think it was just a spam text, They at least had to plug in my name. Cruises must be hurting.

I got a text from them today pushing cruises. I signed up on their site awhile ago but have never used their services. They sent something about cruises in the mail last week and the text said to hurry UP cause the offer is expiring soon

I used urcomped 2 years back to try something different, they comped me free rooms and gave me a host who emailed me to tell me I would have x amount in food comps and free play when I checked in. I brought 2 friends in from out of town who they also said they would give me a second room for them. Once we got into town the hotel only had 1 room booked and the host was not available, was off work and no way to reach him I guess. We checked my friends into this room and I used another offer at a different casino and booked last minute for us to stay at, so that was super annoying being at 2 different properties. When I went back later to check on my friends none of the comps (food and free play the host told me I would have was on my players card and players club had no idea what to do with the host not being available. I didn’t hear from the host till after I flew home and he wanted to know why I didn’t play at the casino, even after I left him a voicemail and email about all the issues and he never got back to me and didn’t even respond to the issues just wanted to know why I didn’t play at the casino during my trip! Needless to say, I never used that company again.

If you're Noir at MGM I don't know why you felt the need to use URcomped for Venetian. Host at Venetian would/should be falling all over themselves to get you in.

I've used them a couple of times, and one thing to be aware of is that the play requirements listed on their website are far lower than what the casino will expect from you. I actually got blacklisted at one property because of this. I also had a separate issue that required way too many back and forth emails. In the end, they're not worth the headache, IMO.

My only experience with them was inquiring about play limits. The host asked me my average daily play limit and my trip limit. I asked them why trip limit was important to them, and they said that once a play hit their trip limit, they would not be expected to play anymore.

That being said, I've never used them, but I would only consider them for cruises. Why? Because I don't see the sense in "pissing off" the host casino hosts. I have heard tell through people who use third party hosts that they cannot get a casino host for TWO YEARS after using a third party hosting service. I have also heard that players using third party hosts receive little, if any assistance from the local casino hosts.

Perhaps someone with more detailed knowledge can chime in and elaborate on their experiences

I have two independent casino hosts, one who is my host for Wynn and Craig at URComped for The Venetian/Palazzo. From my experience with both independent hosts is that they both work for me and for the casino, they receive a percentage of my theoretical or if at a casino that compensates based on loss, they receive a percentage of loss. Therefore they are aligned with my intentions to get as much as possible in comps to keep me playing at the properties they represent. They have no incentive to under-comp me to hit to internal revenue goal, I have heard this can happen with on property hosts.

In regards to the experience with working with an independent host vs an on property host, I have experience a higher level of service with an independent host than with a on property host. When I call or email them I receive a reply often times instantly or within a hour or so. As mentioned earlier there is never an issue of getting the maximum comps based on my play because they have all the incentive to make sure I am happy to keep booking with them.

I have no issue with receiving RFB, limo, VIP Check-in and Lounge access, additional back-end comps. I still receive special event invites including Big Game , NYE and other tournament invites.

As far as my experience while being on property, I am assigned a National Marketing Host who is my on property host during my trip who can handle any arrangements I request. For example, when I arrived at Wynn for my October trip the National Marketing host greeted us at the Tower Suites entrance and walked us into the RFB lounge to arrange for my check-in. Our first night's dinner reservation did not have our preference for a lakeside table and the hostess was saying that it is now not possible to offer a table lakeside, one call to the National Marketing Host and in 5 minutes we were seated at a table next to the glass lakeside. I receive the same amenities as a guest of an on property host, the only difference is my on property host is with National Marketing who works with my independent host.

Also from what I have been told by my independent hosts and from National Marketing at V/P and Wynn is that in order to work with an on property host or another independent host, you will need 12 months from your last trip booked with the host that you want to change from to be assigned a new host. This is done to protect the independent host from having their customers being poached.

While on property I have not experienced a negative reaction from any on property host but that is probably because I work with the National Marketing Host team when I am on property. Once at The Palazzo, I ran into an on property host while at the Grazie desk getting a new Grazie cards and she was nothing but polite and welcoming while helping me.

I hope this helps provide insight into the experience while on property when using an independent casino host.

I have used them, and I like Craig a lot. Yes, they are salespeople. They are selling you as a client to the properties they work with. They get a cut of your theo. Nothing in life is free.

I'm rated all over Vegas, I have direct hosts and I have actual offers at all the places I play. So, why did I use them? I wanted to try new places, where I do not have a history of play!

Yes, I have $400 in free play and a suite at Treasure Island, but I have always wanted to check out Green Valley Ranch. Instead of me searching for a random host there, giving them my current offers from one of their competitors and them promising me to review my play, and comp at the back end. URComped was my pimp!

They already vetted me, they know my level of play and they are able to get me upfront comps, at places where I had no history.

I used them to book at the Golden Nugget downtown before, and at Green Valley Ranch. Both times everything went smoothly on their end, and I got everything that was promised. I will point out, they do NOT (at the time) have a deal with GVR. BUT Craig still knew a host there, and was able to get me hooked up, with nothing in it for his company. This was all a few years ago.

Once they got me in, I actually got a host assigned directly at the property and I started pulling direct offers, now that those casinos know who I am. I certainly found them useful!

I had a dialogue with Craig on another messageboard when they first started up and were dealing with LV casinos, before they seemed to shift largely to cruises.

From the descriptions on their website, URComped served as a player introduction service for land-based casinos, not really as an independent host.

In other words, if you were interested in branching out to a new casino, they would do the legwork of getting you comped upfront for your first visit. Once you stayed there, you were then the "property" of that casino's marketing dept. Craig seemed to confirm this in our exchanges.

I have no doubt they got some sort of fee for the introduction, like a finder's fee, but I didn't think they continued to get an ongoing cut of your action after that. Mr. Elite appears to indicate he thinks they keep a finger in the pie on an ongoing basis and I don't have any reason to question that, he's in a better position to know than I am. Maybe it works both ways - if you continue to have UR book you each time, they get a cut each time, but if you start just booking regular casino offers, they don't.

I used them once to get re-introduced to V/P after I hadn't stayed there in several years and wasn't getting any comp offers. Once they arranged the V/P stay, and I played my normal level, I got V/P offers just like I had when I stayed there regularly, and from that point on I only dealt with V/P marketing staff directly.

That experience was about 4 years ago. Shortly thereafter, they shifted their focus to cruises and I'm not interested in cruises, so I haven't dealt with them at all except that one time.

@Chuck Even when URComped brings in a new player to a property, they are acting as an independent casino host and they are compensated based upon player theoretical or trip loss depending on the casino's National Marketing compensation policy.

My experience with Wynn and Venetian/Palazzo has been my independent host will receive credit for my play as long as they continue to represent me at Wynn and V/P. Both Wynn and V/P have a policy that the independent host will receive credit up to 12 months from the last trip they represented the player on. So to change a host to an internal host or to another independent casino host , there needs to be a gap of 12 months between trips for the new host to start to earn credit for your play.

I still receive property marketing offers from Wynn and V/P including special event offers, however I choose to book with my independent host instead of with an on property host.

To your point of URComped shifting their focus to cruises, you are correct. However they still represent land based casinos in the US and Caribbean including some properties in Las Vegas (Venetian, Golden Nugget, M Resort, Westgate)

I hope this clarifies what I said previously about how an independent host receives compensation and for how long they protected from poaching per their contracts with the casinos.
