Since this Summer is not one for traveling back in April during the shutdown I booked 7 nights at the Mirage in a Resort King for $ 600+$300 for Resort Fees which they may be able to prorate or waive depending on what services I can use but I am prepared to do so.

I have a Trip Report here that will be updated once I know what my plan is.

Having played My Vegas Rewards I was able to score a Comped Night at the Vdara for a Friday Night which may turn into the Aria Corner Suite which I am fine with . Being flexible is my motto! Then I used points for a Day Trip to Laughlin on Grey Line Tours.

As I wanted to try a new Casino I booked myself at The Orleans for one night through my Work I was able to get a Comped night in return for touring it and promoting it to my Clients even if it was not Comped its a great excuse to try something new.

I am no stranger to Vegas so with 9 nights even if its a changed Vegas I am super adaptable and don't mind sitting at a table instead of at the Bar Top or if the Buffet is sit down I am able to adapt.

I am so lucky I knew the old Vegas having been there in 1998,2000,2008,2010,2012 and 2015 so I am no stranger to Vegas although this will be my first Solo Trip as I have gone with my Father or Grandfather both of them who are not interested to join me.

I have been to the Venetian Buffet, Paris Buffet, Aria Buffet, Monte Carlo saw Siegfried and Roy and a Comedian. Rode the Luxor Ride stayed at the New Frontier, Vdara, Trump, Luxor and Encore.

Now that I am solo on this trip I can really let lose and spend long nights on the Strip in October enjoying the pool and going to the Neon and Mob Museum as well as the Bellagio Gallery. I do not need shows to entertain me but will be back again.

Southwest had a $97 r/t Flight and I had a Voucher so I booked the times that were right but changed it to an 8:00 AM Flight out of San Jose arriving at 9:35 AM and leaving Las Vegas at 7:55 PM arriving at 9:20 PM with hopes to get bumped to Sunday.

I love maximizing my arrival and departure days. I will skip breakfast at home well maybe a small bowl of cereal and have it in Vegas .

Yes I love to Gamble too and love Crystals, MLife Properties, Venetian , Paris and others.

I am still racking up more My Vegas points for dining and if they have any drink special offers like 2 for 1 I will load up on that. I have a $25 Restaurants.com to Pampas .

I am going to try the La Salsa Burrito and Large Margarita for $30 if you eat it you get a shirt in one sitting if not its a smokin deal!

I want to do the early morning Breakfast specials or late night Happy Hours.

In between I will catch a Timeshare Presentation to load up on a Gift Card that will be bonus spending money.

I already know where to go and am excited to see what these times bring as remember I am adaptable and actually love not being near other people in the pool area.

I am willing to wear a mask than No Vegas at all and on the plane will wear a Mask too. I feel sorry for the people who do not follow the rules. I love sitting down at the Bar as opposed to the Bar Tops and hope for less smoking.

At age 36 I am booking a Trip of A Lifetime the way I want to plan it without anyone telling me what to do. Its my trip and I am going to look at Groupon, Living Social and Travel Zoo Deals. And my motto is Luxury for Less. I love researching the details and booking the deals.

I feel as if this may be a Blessing in Disguise as it forces us to look for new ways to have fun. I want to ride on the Linq Ferris Wheel , Stratosphere ZiP Line and Coaster, NYNY Coaster etc. I am saving my Birthday Money for this trip!

So its a Birthday Trip and Fun all rolled into one.

Wish me luck and I am willing to hear your ideas.

October is Golden. Will try for a Corner Strip Suite at Aria or Vdara plus a nice 1 bedroom Tower at Mirage. I also got a $50.F&B Credit at Mirage
