Cloudy and kinda drizzly out, but I'm freaking thrilled. As an NYC native, I missed this. Weather is otherwise perfect, 80s and a little breezy.

Had a great breakfast at MAG. The special crepes were bananas Foster so we asked if we could get the waffles with the bananas Foster instead and they said ok. We made mimosas in the room and in our cute cups I brought from home so we just ordered coffee, waffles and a ham and cheese omelet and split them.
Bally's pool was pretty chill. We got to our cabana around 11, used 2 of our diamond drink vouchers for Miami Vice's. It wasn't too hot, I read some of my book, we got in the pool awhile when it got hot. Around 3 it started to cloud up so we headed to the room to clean up. At 5 :30 we walked to Hexx and put our name on the wait list, 20 minutes later we had a table by the window. We split a Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza. I had $375 in freeplay so we went to Bally's HL and I put it in the $5 double top dollar and got a bonus on the first spin, $1700!

 

After the freeplay was gone I moved to the $1 top dollar and hit this


My niece and I both have 8 a.m. flights so I cashed out, so here I am, suitcase packed and in bed at 10:35. I am only down $500 for the trip and she's down fifty bucks.
All in all a great trip, this is our 6th trip to Vegas together. I missed not coming last year. I haven't seen her in 2 years but I'm hoping she and her hubby and son are coming to Texas in Nov.

Not a lot to report on first night. Got in, had Bobby’s Burger at CP, meh. Was able to convert my $375 free play to this on Lil Red (new version):
And then went a little it’s and put it all back and a couple hundred. Good news is that I kept myself from digging in the actual trip bankroll in the first night, so I’ll take that. It’s 3:00am my time, so gonna try and sleep a little and get back at it tomorrow. Scope rest of CP in morning and then head to Cosmo and see what I can do.

@Figment76 I think we were following in each other's footsteps: UX gold and zuma this weekend. Too bad i didn't check VF until i got home!
It's kind of irritating how much the Cosmo VP machines have been breaking. The 100 play locked up on me mid-hand, and they were fixing it at least once per day. I appreciate they were getting it back up and running, but damn, why are they going down so much? same with the UX Gold and Super hot roll, broken at least once per day.

I wish. It was just kinda drizzling, but I'll take what I can get. Late summer thunderstorms in Vegas can get insane. I still remember the one that knocked out the MGM marquee and stranded most of my group off-Strip (I and a couple others avoided it because I quickly recognized what was going on and told them, "I'm going. Now. Come with me if you want to live."). Took them four hours to make it back.

We're supposed to get some more showers today, but who knows. Still perfect gambling weather!

Yeah, that made me feel better too.

From my understanding, the rate of infection post-vaccination is low, with 0.06% of fully vaccinated people contracting the virus. And those that are vaccinated that do get it, it is much milder and the viral load so low, it is much much harder for you to then give it to someone else.

With that said, anyone that lies about being vax to go maskless, is just going to be giving/getting COVID to/from others that are lying about it as well LOL

Unfortunately, it's not even about lying -- most places don't even ask. I still wear mine, but even vaccinated have been tested positive (see, e.g., the Yankees, who have had nine players).

What did you have there? I had the chicken and pork wraps, and honestly wasn't thrilled, though that's just my personal perspective). Seemed very heavy on the fish sauce to me, though I love the concept.
