    I tried to go there and the line was crazy as well! And as much as I love Earl of Sandwich, there were 20 people in line. It takes them practically a half-hour to make a basic menu sandwich, so I said the hell with it and bought some fruit from ABC.

    Thanks for the RW pics. Can I ask what you thought overall? I've only briefly passed through, but it seems a bit... disjointed, I guess. Not terribly unlike the back end of Paris, which I give credit for having a very well-unified casino floor, but then you get into Yong Kang Street, GR Steak, and so on (no knock on those places, they're great!).

    I really liked the atmosphere at Resorts World…clean, bright, and plenty of bartop video poker with a variety of denominations. If the location was a little more central I could see myself spending more time there, but it’s a pretty good hike.

    Downtown for dinner at 8 East at Circa. In addition to appetizers, we all ordered the brisket fried rice which is definitely as good as reported!

    Yesterday we were supposed to fly out at 4:55 but at noon I had a text from SWA saying delayed to 5:35, no biggie we were having lots of rain. 5 minutes later they said 6:55. WHAT? Do they not know it's my birthday and I need to get to Vegas? A half hour later we get another saying 6. Thats better, we ended up leaving at 6:15. I watched Tom and Jerry on the plane.     So I did a thing. I managed to keep a secret from @Mrs2BOBCATS , whose birthday happened to be today too.

    Since we were in the Detroit area a day early for the flight I was able to arrange for her brother and his wife to drive up from Sandusky OH and join us for a birthday dinner. First time we’ve seen them since Feb 2020 and she was quite pleased to see them.

    All the border crossings were easy and we are getting ready for bed before taking off for Vegas just before 10 tomorrow morning. Can’t wait to join the fun.
