    That’s not a trombone. I believe that’s a Euphonium or a small tenor tuba.

    Does nose flute count?

Nah, only joking. I played the French horn for 1 year when I was in 7th grade (I think, was so long ago, lol). It took care of one of my requirements. I never had the talent to play anything though, wish I did. My dad played a mean ukulele and I wish that I could play it too. He played like Jake Shimabukuro plays. Dad passed away 20 years ago and I have the ukulele but haven't done anything with it.

i played violin when I was really young and I sang in a couple of bands through early college. One of the bands recorded a couple of songs around mid to late 90's.

I played flute in elementary school, and part of freshman year high school.

Piano, guitar, clarinet, sax (alto, baritone, tenor). Guitar is my main thing, no good on keys, but I was a pretty good sax player - lead tenor in the stage band. Got a classic Fender Duo Sonic that I bought when I was 15. Had a Tele made by a guy in Ottawa who it turned out made necks that Alex Lifeson favored - and the neck has always been rock solid amazing. Mahogany body, quarter sawn maple neck. Never had a Strat so a couple of years ago I bought on of those Monoprice $99 US Chinacasters.

They have a good rep online and it is amazing how good the thing is. The neck is gorgeous, satin finish, good a great setup on it. The electronics are so so. The bridge sucks, I haven't been able to set up the trem so it stays in tune. I did a ton of setup work on the guitar including rounding the fret ends. I still can't believe they can sell such an instrument for $99, with gig bag, and a strap, and a pick - delivered.

Had the Duo Sonic completely rebuilt including Pleked by a wizard in Ottawa. He also worked on my Tele. The original Duo Sonic pickups are seen in the Tele.

I put in new pickups and had some hand-wound replicas made for the Duo Sonic.

So it turns out when I had some guy work on the Tele to do a fret job (there was a little buzz I couldn't get rid of) he butchered it and ground the frets down to nothing. Not enough there to work with, it has to be refretted for $500 - umm maybe in a while. Would be nice to have stainless steel and have it Pleked because that neck is super stable, I'd probably rarely have to mess with it ever again. That guitar will stay in tune after having sat for months and months. Yeah, I don't play enough anymore.

    TMI?

That duo sonic is pretty damn cool. I’ve been having off set envy over the past year. I am real close to getting a Jazzmaster.

The Recorder, cymbals, tamborine, and maracas -- all not very well. I have no musical or artistical talents at all. I do numbers/math.

In a way music is math too. The way the notes are related can be broken down to their mathematical relationships.

I played the piano very well in high school, i played for the chorus to sing to. I quit after high school but still bang out a tune on my keyboard occasionally.
