For the larger casino companies and others, if you book a comped trip and check-in isn't until 3pm will slot and table play count towards the comp calculations for your trip if you arrive at the property early in the morning and begin your play then?

In other words, if they expect the typical four hours of play each day will your play count if you arrive early and you get your four hours of play in before check-in?

    Yes.

The dividing line for what play counts on which day is the "gaming day" which usually runs something like 6:00am - 6:00am the following day.

So if you get there at 10:00am and play until 2:00pm (or any other length of time) but don't get checked in until 3:00pm, that play still counts as part of that day and as part of your trip total.

Also, MGM properties and Cosmo go on a trip theo basis, which changes makes when you start and stop a little less important. I'd imagine ADT still has an impact.

Yup, many places are now basing you ranks per "trip"

In the olden days, it was all about the ADT. Average Daily Theoretical (Loss) For years, players would hedge the system. The easiest way to improve your sexiness as a player, was to not use your card on checkout day. Most people don't play up to their average on a short day anyway, so you could remove that data from the pool.

If your ADT was $10K coin per day, you check in Monday, check out Wednesday and don't play/use your card. You were tagged as a $10K per day player. $20K coin gambled through on 2 rated days.

Now, through advanced analytical data gathering, As long as they know you are on property, and the fact that you were still in their room on that Wednesday morning, you are rated per trip. Using the same above, you are now rated at $20K coin played on 3 rated days. And your ADT is reduced to just over $6K

You are now worth 1/3 less to the casino in expected rake, and your comps will reflect that.

This ain’t no damn ho’ house.
Cosmo uses ADT for offers, too.
Trip Theo AND ADT, to qualify for as much as possible, you need to be mindful of both. (We has a good trip Theo, but our ADT wasn’t great..and that’s why we were getting no VIP events and other good offers)

Just to round out this thread, ADT is not dead. Your Average Daily Theoretical Loss is still used when you are not a registered guest in the system.

If you are staying at Bellagio (Mlife) but hop in to play at Paris (Total Rewards) Paris will rate you for the true 1 day. Where as Bellagio, who knows you are there on a trip, will rate you for the full boat including check-in and out day.

I have gotten mixed answers when talking to host and gaming directors about paid rooms. But most seem to agree with this: You are only tagged for a trip, when pulling a comp for the room. If you pay for your room, and play with your card, you are only pulling from the ADT and not Trip ratings.

Unless you screw up, and give them your players card number when booking. That might suck your paid room sneak around into the Trip category

Does anyone know when the daily/weekly/monthly (CET) free play time cut off is it? On the new day 12:00am or casino day 6:00am?

I've seen both end of gaming day and midnight before depending on location. No idea about Vegas particularly though. My ADT sucks too much for FP there.

It doesn't say on your offer anywhere?

This is for Harrah's Cherokee I dropped in a while ago and had a significant loss and I guess they're trying to lure me back figured I might try to grab a monthly weekly and 2 dailys in short time if I could ever make it back that way

Like others said it should say somewhere in the offer, but I have found outside of Vegas CET offers start at 12:01 am or 1:00 am for the weekly offer, then the daily bonuses are at 6:00 am. Cherokee could be different but that’s been my experience at a few different properties. I have double dipped many times myself on these.
