October 2021 Roll Call

Our trip is ON! October 4-8, Aria Sky Suites. Will attempt as "live" a trip report as possible.

 

Good to see you back on here and going to Vegas. I'm going to plan a October trip too. Lets see I we can meet up for some Pan Roast.

 

Hello my brother from another mother! Hope all is well with you. Yes, do come in October and we can finally have that pan roast we've been talking about all these years. In addition to 10/4-10/9, I will likely swing back through Vegas the weekend of 10/23 - 10/26 before I drive back to NY.

 

So everyone is going down mid-end Oct?? I just keep missing the mark with my random planning. I'm going down next week October 6th-10th and November 17th-21st. Then you know, birthday redo New Years Eve December 30th - January 2nd (Dirty 30, so will be drunk all of the trip, will not be in the right frame of mind to meet new people lol). I'll catch you all again one of these days!

I knoooow!! Who knows though, if the trip is great, I stroll my ass back to vegas back to back..if it's terrible..I hide for about a month and a half tops. The usual lol. @Wiscolovesvegas

I'm bummed that our Halloween trip means once again I'm like a week or two off (or even a day) from being able to see what all this Chandy fun is about, BUT... I realized today that this means I can build excitement for this entire month of watching all your trip reports!!!

 

One night, One night only. 10/16 in some crappy room at Excalibur but oh well it’s comped.

I wanted to wait until I was closer to the GO date. I cancelled my August trip, but I'm pretty sure October is on.
I'll be in Vegas October 23 - 28 and staying at Paris with a couple of friends for a birthday.
We have a Calais suite with a connector.

I'm hoping for good weather. There are 2 rounds of golf booked for Cascata. I tried to book a round
at Rio Secco, but shocker, my host was only able to get us in at Cascata, twice. I'll take it. Cascata is the better/nicer course.

I haven't been to Vegas since March 1, 2020, so I'm really looking forward to this trip. I'm using a 7* retreat, so I'll be picking up $1200 in FP for the
flights. I also have a $500 folio credit to work my way through and a bunch of 7* dinner vouchers. I'm also booked under a $2500 FP offer. My plan is to take $1200 in slot play and $2500 in table vouchers. If golf goes well, we may throw in a 3rd round. Most importantly, I have a haircut booked. My stylist is at Color in CP. I look like Rapunzel since I haven't had a haircut since February 27, 2020. I take Covid hair to new heights!

I also have plans to get a pfizer shot at Walgreens. I have no idea what the CDC will accept as fully vaccinated, once the new rules come into effect
in November. With that Walgreen pfizer shot, I will be considered fully vaccinated with 2 Pfizer doses. ( I currently have 1 AZ and 1 Pfizer)

@pphold, I'll be available for the Flower Pot cake. Just saying.

Birthday trip for Mrs. P (Oct 30) and I (Halloween).

We always have to go a week or two prior to our birthdays because of work. I cannot take off on my birthday because it's the last day of the month and November 1 starts accounting close.

 

You won't be considered fully vaccinated until 2 weeks after your second shot, so schedule it accordingly

 

11 days to go. Oct 19 thru 23 at nyny.
