"First Date" trip to BENIHANA's

Did i say she declined? Never declined. She simply cant get anyone to watch her 12 year old. As i said after talking to her the next day on a walk to the park with her and the kids it was very clear and apparent she wasn't interested. The friend bullshit kind of. Didn't say that but intimated that. Im just not for her and that's cool. Cant believe that but its ok. LOL...

I said no expectations earlier but here is the little let down. I mean im normal. I think. I can get laid anywhere anytime or date every night if i wanted. Been there done that many times over and over and it gets old. When you meet someone you think is wonderful and they show signs of being interested but the next day, week or whatever it turns out not well that can be disappointing. I know because i have made woman feel unfortunately the same way before. I want to be nice and not hurt them and did the same exact thing as she did. Just not used to that happening to me..

 

Lol.. I wont show this. Nope, ball is in her court. Just like in Vegas, anyone who knows me I WONT CHASE anymore. Im pretty good at reading people and its over before it started but it was kind of fun for a month or so. Onward and upward!

So get this... 100s of text back and forth. Walks to the park with the kids. Here is what i found out... She tells me the story of how her son met mine.... Goes like this.. Me my buddy i have known since i was 6 came in from San Diego to golf and stay with me. My friend, my son and myself went in my car to do a few errands. We pull into the drive way and see a kid riding a bike. Pull in and my buddy stops him and says do you live here? He says yes just moved in a few weeks ago. So my buddy says this is little packer and they start playing. They got along really well and both were excited to meet each other. The kid goes home and tells his Mom he just met the nicest little boy and he cant wait to play again! The boy say and guess what? Mom say what? Boy says "He has two daddy's"!! Now not that there is anything wrong with that but i assure you and many here can attest i am not batting for the other team. After she told me this story i put 2+2 together. She thought i was married to my buddy or something silly. LOL... Just my luck she wanted a gay best friend who had a son also I'm sure because it is no threat. As i said, JUST MY LUCK!

However I'm only 95% sure of this and as of today still don't know this to be 100% true. I'm holding onto some hope. LOL

I did ask her to dinner and she said her boy would be at her mom's house that night so i said well how about an adult dinner where you could have a glass of wine and some fun? She kinda skirted around it and said it takes me 5 hours to finish a glass of wine and then said boys will be boys all in a text. Ok, I'm reading the writing on the wall... LOL

 

When I tell that story my friends are on the ground laughing. Call me costanza.. That happens to George not me!! no text since I left to Vegas. Not expecting any at all. It was fun while it lasted. What a joke. Lol

 

Yes PT it is.. Could you imagine what she was thinking when we first got together? She probably said, WTF!

 

THE ONLY REASON i would even have anything to do with her is our sons. Thats it! Its all about them. Not interested in games or waiting for her to be emotionally ready. Always friends and she can walk over for a cup of sugar anytime. Im over it and like i said it was fun for a minute.

 

Text back and forth. Then I said this... "I don't remember if D is at your mom's. If not, neighborly dinner tonight? After all, men will be men! Lol..
On another note, I will have S from tomorrow til next Thursday so hopefully the boys can play"

Her.....Yes, my moms here visiting for a few days. Maybe dinner next week, but are you guys here Sunday? I'm having an Easter egg scavenger hunt for the kids. Can S join?

Her....Okay, or you could dress up as the Easter Bunny and come too?
