10th Anniversary Trip @ Cosmo 2/5-2/12

Hi fellow degens!

Like the title says, the Mrs. And I are celebrating our tenth anniversary next week. What better way to spend it than in Las Vegas? Spending all 7 nights at the cosmo in a terrace suite with a fountain view. Going to try the $50 trick (I know it's $20, but this is a busy weekend so maybe I need to do $50?).

We arrive tomorrow morning at 11:30 local time and I have scheduled a limo to pick us up and take us to the airport. I have been planning this trip since we went in October and my wife doesn't know anything other than the two days she'll be spending at the spa while I play in poker tourneys.

Here is our itinerary:

Sunday:
Arrive, eat, make some wagers on the game, get drunk and gamble!

Monday:
Wife will do some shopping while I gamble up and down the strip to get some more $1 chips for my collection. After that I am doing a virtual high limit pull with my poker buddies. We have $1k and I'll be streaming it in Facebook messenger haha.

Tuesday:
I'm playing in the Venetian $40k poker tourney while my wife spends the day at the Cosmo Spa.

Wednesday:
Hanging out at the Bellagio, then dinner reservations at Lago. Heading to see Brad Garrett at his comedy club then we'll do the Happy Hour on the High Roller.

Thursday:
Going to check out the downtown casinos and Lucky Dragon to get some new chips.

Friday:
I'm playing in the $10k at the Wynn while my wife does spa day number 2. Might try to do Zumanity.

Saturday:
We have tickets in the golden circle for the Michael Jackson One show.

Going to be doing lots of drinking and gambling, I have a gambling budget of $8k and then another $1k for the slot pull plus a few hundred for sports bets.

Going to do my best to keep it live, really appreciate all of the great trip reports from everyone else so I hope I can return the favor.

One question: I'm considering renewing our vows, but don't want anything extravagant. Any suggestions for a nice but not expensive way to do this?

 

Figured it might work to get upgraded to a 1 bedroom or wraparound.

I guess I'll skip the $50 trick. Might make it harder to get everything comped anyway, right?

Just checked in, having a smoke on the balcony then heading downstairs for football bets and drinks!

 

They're taking wagers up on the 4th floor in case anyone is stuck in that massive line downstairs.

 

First time having Eggslut, so good!!

Down $250 at slots. Having trouble uploading pics, does cosmo have password protected wifi?

 

Down $500 at slots so far and $100 at roulette. Watching the game in the room while the wife gets some secret pizza. She's the best!
