As part of my upcoming journey in August, I’m getting two nights comp’d at TI (sorry, ti just looks funny to me when it’s written lower case) in a king deluxe and $45 in free play. I’ve been getting these offers on a regular basis for the last year, but this will be my first time taking them up on it. My question is how much play triggers offers like this at their resort? When I stayed there in March ‘18, I’d estimate my daily coin-in around $750 (quite a bit lower than normal) with most of my play coming from ¢.25 VP, ¢.05 Ultimate X and some $1 Top Dollar and Pinball with a few penny slots scattered in. This was my only time playing/staying there and it was probably my lowest rolling visit in Vegas since we had more plans on that trip than just gambling.

I like the hotel and will definitely be playing higher coin-in this time around. Obviously, it didn’t take much to get on their radar, but what about to stay on it?

I’d say if you stay there and put in four hours of play per day you will get their attention. It might take a couple of trips, but you’ll find out what your play generates that way.

It only took one trip of drop in play on one day of 10k coin-in for me to get 3 nights + $200 every quarter

Interesting. I’m guessing I’ll be averaging around 5k of coin in both days playing mostly slots and VP, so we’ll see if that gets me any offers to come back. I’ll be doing a little more (around 7k) at MGM/NYNY the two days I’m there after leaving TI. I’m not going to chase the comps, but it’d be nice if I got an offer at both TI and Mlife in the future to combine and make another 4-5 night stay.

    I can't figure TI out.

I did a walkthrough in July 2017 and did $500 coin-in and didn't really get any offer beyond casino rate.

So I booked one night at casino rate in January 2018 and did about $2,800 coin-in on slots (well below my average) plus a couple hours of $10 craps. The follow-up offer was for 3 nights in a suite and $450 in freeplay. And I got assigned a host. All of which is a little excessive, but OK.

So I took them up on that offer and stayed in July of last year for 2 nights (just took a regular room, not a suite), averaged $4,800/night coin-in, plus a few hours of craps. I had a $1.920 handpay and left up about $600. The first follow-up offer from that was 3 nights in a suite and $400 freeplay - that was good through the end of the year, but I couldn't take advantage of it. But then the next offer, for Jan - April was only 2 nights and $100 freeplay. I wrote the host and asked about the drop and got no reply. And subsequent offers have been only 2 nights and throw-ins like NASCAR tickets or slot tourneys, no freeplay.

I have offers from everywhere, and MLife, CET. Cosmo and V/P are very consistent in their offers given $X amount of play, and they stay that way unless my play changes. So I've pretty much written off TI. If I have no idea what my play is going to get me, I'm not staying there.

On the other hand, Grid's experience has been totally different. I can't account for the difference other than he has much more history with them.

Just to add some context, I recently did a walk-through at TI last month with roughly $4k coin-in over 3 hours, all $1 denom slots, and the offer I just got is 1 night comp, additional nights at casino rate, $50 Freeplay, with a 2-night minimum stay.

This seems to confirm what most people have been saying about TI on this forum - difficult to get a decent teaser offer; much better offers after a paid stay.

That’s what I’m thinking did it (paid stay). When I stayed there back in ‘18, I booked 2 rooms through them direct. I’m guessing this offer I got was more for the paid stay than the low rolling I did.
