Been a struggle since July since so many out of town trips that makes it hard to maintain

Was 172 July 1 and been around 178-176 since getting back from Florida 1st weekend in August.

As long as I am below the 180 goal I had I got to tell myself to be happy with that as I came a long ways in a year. Will just treat anything else below is just a bonus.

Going to Vegas next weekend so starting all over again come next Monday lol

Hope everyone else who is working on losing is having good luck

177 not bad just don't fall back into bad eating habits.. Me, gaining. Feel like I'm 280 but in actuality I'm 240. Sad, Disappointed. I'm doing almost nothing to help myself except a 8 mile round trip hike tomorrow from malibu to the highest point in the santa monica mountains.. Feel like shit about it. I'll be ok though and will lose and more importantly eat healthy again. Come on packer motivate you idiot!!!

Looks like a fun hike. Hopefully a little cooler temps up higher elevation.

The printed word can be very one dimensional at best.... I was only trying to be a bit light-hearted while being hopefully motivational with Packer.... We all wish the best for each other in this forum and in life..

that seem to be the boat I am in too. I am staying between 165-172 but it does seem to be a struggle. I myself have been drinking tito's and soda pretty much all summer which is adding 400-500 calories a day ( 4 drinks). I know when I started my keto diet and didn't drink any alcohol and that really seemed to help my diet and goals.

I was in the 105 sun at my son's soccer tournament all day for two days. It's I had shade but was still in the sun and remember while sitting the sun was still blasting my left side. That was saturday and sunday. Didn't feel burned. Monday the left side of my face started hurting to touch. NOT inside my face but the skin outside. left side of my forehead down to the middle of my face. Feels like I got smacked with asoccer ball. Left ear doesn't hurt. Today is Wednesday and it is the same and hurts. No numbness and the inside of my head doesn't hurt sry all. No headache. Only hurts prettt bad to touch. This morning I was thinking what have I eaten lately. Could this be some sort off rash or skin reaction. Just 10 minutes ago I remembered I changed one supplement. Friday I ran out of fish oil. The same fish oil I have been taking for a year. Saturday I went to whe foods to pick some up but they didn't have what I take. They did have salmon oil gel tabs. Same company as the fish oil so I compared them and read up on it. The only difference I could decipher was the salmon oil is much stronger with a lot of omega 3s. So I bought it and started taking 2 tablets morning and night. Usually take one each. Maybe that's what's happening with my face? I will stop this morning and see. If it continues to hurt the same in two days it's doctor time if not ER!

So it was definitely the salmon oil. Something in it didn't agree with me. Called the manu and that's one of the side effects. The pain is now a 1 3/4 from a 6 1/8 and going down rapidly. Almost checked myself in lol.

After Labor Day weigh in...so summer is basically over except for the true fall equinox in a couple of weeks. I weighed in today at 165.. I was surprised and thought it might be 170.. but over the last 2/3 weeks I really cut back on some of the things I been slipping up on. tortilla chips, potato chips, carbish stuff. and no more of the sugar loaded Latigo Kid margarita's.. Hopefully the weather cools off so I can get back outdoors more... So over the summer I kept within my goals but did get up to as high as 175. One thing I did do religiously all summer was 1st thing in the am.. One 12 oz glass of warm water, 1 tbl ACV, 1 tbl Psyllium husk, 1 tbl cranberry concentrate and 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon and my probiotics capsules.

I have been reading and following everyone on this thread. The information and support that you all provide is greatly appreciated. I'm not new to the fitness thing but I sure need to get my butt back on track. I was so good a couple years ago and was in the best shape possible. I have slacked off big time and really need to step it up. The summer is always hard with vacations and my kiddo being home, but I can't let that be an excuse anymore.

I'm hoping by posted here, it will give me the accountability that I need. School started today and I had my first workout in months, thought I was going to puke, lol. I know what to do, what to eat or not to eat. For me, it's all in my head and the excuses start to pile up. I'm ready to kick that habit to the curb and get back to the best Stephanie that I can be. Agan, thank you all for all sharing your thoughts and information.

I finally got under 350 this week. I lost 80lbs in the first 16 weeks, but has taken me 13 weeks to lose the last 20lbs. I realize that it was going to be slower as I lost more weight, but I didn't expect it to drop to such a slow rate so quickly. I have also had several stretches where it was one step forward, two steps back. But all that being said, I am still at a weight where I haven't been in over 19 years.

I realize that a big part of the problem of not losing as quickly has been due to the fact that I have been eating quite a bit of fruit this summer, which is high in sugar content. Once the fruit is no longer in season I will go back to the basic meats and veggies. I have been consistent in going to the gym, but that too has suffered occasionally due to summer activities. With the kids back in school and nothing else in the way my gym attendance will be more regular, and depending on their schedules, I will be back to lifting in the evenings soon. I need the two a day routine to kick things back into a higher gear.

I fell off the exercise wagon -- pretty much dragging myself kicking and screaming back into exercising. I can easily walk 3 miles and jog about 1 to 1 1/2 miles of the walk. I really have a hard time finding the time and energy. Today I decided to use my gym membership. Wellness Center that is right next to the hospital and owned by the hospital I work at. I am so tired after 12 hour night shifts -- but I had a bright idea to start swimming again. It has been several years but I always loved to swim. Fast forward 12 years -- Holy shit. I thought it would be easy. -- I suck. We have a 25 meter pool -- I literally only swam 75 meters -- crap. I will go back tomorrow and hopefully push myself to a whopping 100 meters -- I'm so ashamed -- not really -- but yeah really. Thankfully I don't live in Houston -- I would have been SOL during Harvey.

Alright Willie -- we know you are out there. Need some encouragement on this thread. Where's Packer and Dvandentop too?

So I miscounted yesterday and did 4 x25. Not as bad as I said. Which today meant I had to at least one up myself. I did 6 or a 150 meters. Still kicked my ass and lungs.
