Just returned from a 3 night stay (booked through a 3rd party) last week. I put roughly 3K points on my identity card, 2K of which came on the last day. Do you think this will be enough to generate some offers for discounted or comped rooms? Thanks in advance!

I guess we'll let you join...
If you were a brand new member, it definitely should. Probably should even if you weren't.

I would hope for at least a couple of weeknights. Maybe anytime.

Not a new member but hadn't given them any play in 6 years. That's encouraging I'll be sure and post back. Thanks @tringlomane!

It depends. Video poker, slots? What denomination? Also, is your tier level above the base level?

Still Velvet tier. 80% slots, 20% VP.

I was similar to you, signed up there years ago and then recently would "stop in" on various trips. I came in a few times and played for maybe 3 hours or so and got about 1000 points, but still Velvet. Sounds like your average from this trip is about 1000 points per day, and like you I play about 80% slots and 20% VP.

My offers would be $75 in Identity Play with another $50 by getting enough points and I would get a separate room offer with select dates comped. They were never weekends though, just for less busy times and when I tried to use them they were always too full to accept my offer.

I more recently stopped in and got about 1700 points in a few hours mainly because I did larger bets and the games played well enough to cycle more and now my offers are no identity play but I could get a free room almost anytime, or if I had to pay it would include a $200 per day resort credit.

1,000 points is the equivalent of $2,500 coin-in on slots. That's kind of borderline for Cosmo. I'd expect you'll get an offer (in fact, you probably should have gotten one yesterday), but it's hard to predict what it will be. The more your slot play skewed towards penny slots on the trip, the better your offer will be.

If you were playing slots with a 15% hold (high), $2,500 coin-in would generate $375 a night in theo. If you take a third of that, $125, it's probably not enough to cover a room at Cosmo a lot of nights. But after a long stretch with no play, maybe they'll send you the equivalent of a teaser.

Thanks for the input. I didn't get one yesterday, so I'll keep looking out. Thanks again.

I just checked my coin-in from my trip in June and they had me at like $2300. I got an offer right when I got back for $25 in FP and another $50 if I racked up like 5000 points within 48 hours. I am guessing thats all I will get. I did cross into Sterling, so at least I got one free night! :)
